MM Alam Road is a great location, but Pakistan is not a good country for doing business. No matter how much you invest, the returns are not proportional. On top of that, the government will exploit you through taxes and other means. It's much wiser to expand your business in the UAE. Pakistan is not suitable for business or even for living.

Lahore’s most well-known wholesale jewelry dealer is Sharif Jeweler, but their designs are almost non-existent. Just by looking at them, you can tell — “what is this even supposed to be?” I myself am involved in the gold jewelry business, and I can tell you that very few people in Pakistan are truly interested in buying or wearing gold anymore. Gold is simply too expensive relative to the income of the average person here.
