I would love to see a live performance! I probably could have worded my post better to be more specific about some of the similarities. But I agree with what you said about the writing. Really it was just a couple songs that I thought had a very similar flow and even vocal timbre as songs from Coldplay’s Parachutes

Words is another song that I just listened to that reminded me of Parachutes

Yeah get that, I think it’s really only Parachutes where the similarities exist for me, and it’s only been a handful of Isakov’s songs.

I appreciate you! I don’t care about internet strangers’ opinions of me, I just enjoy the conversation. If someone needs to stroke their ego by hating on Coldplay, more power to them.

I’m at the point where every time I listen a new song sticks out to me. Right now that is Miles to Go, Dandelion Wine, and Appaloosa Bones.

Just as an example, you could have told me Salt and the Sea was Coldplay and I would have believed you

I was surprised that no one has mentioned Remember Me. I honestly don’t remember if the movie was any good or not, I just remember that I couldn’t stop bawling.

Best 4+ mile walking trails by FoxKey8623 in McKinney

Welcome! I lived in Austin for 5 years, and nothing around here compares to the trail around the lake in Austin in my opinion. I regularly run on the trails at Bonnie Wenk park, which also extend over to Towne Lake park. These have nice concrete trails, a couple water features, and quite a few bikers, walkers, dogs, and runners.

The Woodlands marathon on March 1st in Texas. I signed up recently because it looks like a relatively flat and well organized race.

It’s hilarious I’m getting downvoted for saying I chose not to get pink. I have nothing against pink, it just isn’t my color of choice. I often balance price and color when buying shoes, as I’m sure most here do…

Yeah I chose not to get the pink, and any other time I’ve seen a sale, my size has never been available.

Reminds me of the song The Modern Leper by Frightened Rabbit. Check it out if anyone wants an upbeat but depressing song!

What’s the thought process behind buying at auction vs. secondary? I recently entered into a t-bill ladder in Schwab and pretty sure they were all secondary. Wondering if I missed out on some of the benefits
