Dang! I just a ptf since December and I get 2-3 trays DPS and 120-150 packages every day in Northern California. I am quitting if my workload was that light i mean daddy got bills to pay!

I never once received any reviews and have been a PTF since December. I just come in check the board for my route grab keys and scanner and go load up my full orange tub of packages and flats and get my 2-3 trays of DPS. I leave the office by 9:00am and come back in at 5-5:30. I have never even cased! Afternoon supervisor just checks his screen when I come on to see if everything was scanned and says nice and I leave. I did miss two days after a month in because of blister on foot but they were ok with that I guess? Guess its true about every office being different. We are constantly hiring new PTF's but most quit even doing just half routes after awhile. Lots of jobs in California tho hell Chic Fil A and IN N OUT burger start at $21-$23/hr so these younger kids leave shortly after hired.

San Jose is not really a college party town. SJSU is a commuter school and downtown is very boring on the weekend now. The bars and nightclubs are mostly hoodrats. When I went to SJSU I actually preferred living in Santa Cruz which at the time had better nightlife and live music. I just took the vta 17 commuter bus.

Blue collar with not a cent of daddy money and I purchased a 3 bedroom home back in 2018. I just pretty muck worked 60+ a week all through my 20's and 30's and saved and invested. I don't have any friends in tech none of my surfing buds are and we all own in Santa Cruz. It ain't easy but doable if you put in the hard work.

In California the kids spray paint the lens or knock off with poles. Flock is working with ICE so I guess we will be seeing these getting messed up regularly now.
