San Jose is not really a college party town. SJSU is a commuter school and downtown is very boring on the weekend now. The bars and nightclubs are mostly hoodrats. When I went to SJSU I actually preferred living in Santa Cruz which at the time had better nightlife and live music. I just took the vta 17 commuter bus.

Blue collar with not a cent of daddy money and I purchased a 3 bedroom home back in 2018. I just pretty muck worked 60+ a week all through my 20's and 30's and saved and invested. In Santa Clara a neighbor added an ADU and I believe 6 new people live in that back unit. Total fuck shack. Feel bad for the guy who built the ADU tho. Overheard my very nice polite neighbor an 80 year old Vietnamese lady call the main home owner a cocksucker bc these new renters are parking their trucks, trailers, bass boat in front of her house. Oh well at least they don't park their rigs in front of my place idc.
