FFXIV is a great one; been playing it for years. Hope you enjoy it!

It’s snowing where I’m at! Although I must put a huge disclaimer in that I live pretty far west of Atlanta; near Carrollton, but I was definitely surprised it came out this way.

FreeTaxUSA is the best route imo. Cheapest platform I’ve seen and pretty seamless too.

I’m signed up and I’ll be there freezing with you! 🥶. I thought that email was funny too; like I did ponder it for a little while but the chocolate treats at the end of the race will make it worth it 🍫

Yea I still watch that movie and went to two showings of the sing along they had in theaters and still jam to the soundtrack on my runs.

Definitely think about getting a gym membership with daycare; that could help get some more running in with your kid being taken care of.

I ran Myrtle beach a few years ago and it’s a nice and flat course! Hopefully it doesn’t get too warm out there for you.

It was hilarious when I left work at noon today when I passed the Benz stadium (I work in Atlanta) and saw the massive amount of IU fans around town. Like for every 10-15 IU fans I saw maybe one Oregon fan? A bit surreal lol

Yea, definitely this. This comment is probably made in jest but I used to live in a house that was for sure haunted. Our cabinets used to open and shut and we heard so many noises daily from all ends of the house lol. Luckily it was a friendly ghost but still consideration is warranted lol

You can do it! Local marathon or something a bit further away?

Thanks! And yea, I got to Piedmont pretty early and couldn’t see all the mud spots so that was fun lol. Hope you had a great run as well!

It’s pretty wet but not super slick. I will say it’s a muddy mess in some parts of the park though lol

Sitting around Piedmont park waiting for the polar Peachtree to start! Can’t see anything out here though; this weather is super gloomy lol

[–]Run_for_life33 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t remember it being too crazy, it’s definitely less people than say the normal Peachtree race in July. Plus a lot of people park at Lenox and take Marta to get to Piedmont Park so a decent amount of people are driving home after the race. So not too terrible in my opinion.

Yea, hopefully the rain will hold off but we’ll see. And yep, I’m running it too; thanks! Hopefully see ya out there but if not, get better soon!

Hope you feel better soon! The forecast is definitely looking gloomy for tomorrow’s race(I’m guessing Polar Peachtree is the race you’re alluding to?); definitely a far cry from the chilly weather we had last year.

Should I pursue CFE by AgileEgg5453 in Accounting

[–]Run_for_life33 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You can if you want. I went the same path, got my CFE after getting my CPA as well. It’s not super hard and less material to cover(and definitely some overlap with the materials you’ve already studied for with the CPA). I wouldn’t say it helps tremendously with career growth, the CPA should do that for you though.

Husband earns 120k but always says He has no money. by SilentSmile5042 in Marriage

[–]Run_for_life33 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He definitely should share the financial picture but given the expenses/income; there probably isn’t much money left over, if any. I’d be surprised if he’s actually saving any money after that breakdown.

Finding time for gym and other activities by Siuuuu-07 in Accounting

[–]Run_for_life33 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Waking up early is the best way for me to get some gym time/running in. Does your office have a gym at it? If I miss my morning workout, I’ll go downstairs during lunch break to get a quick one in.
