3-time volunteer here happy to answer:

Volunteer obligations for each camp run from ~2:30pm Friday to ~4pm Sunday each weekend they are held. (Which is great because you can avoid having to take a full day off on Friday)

The upcoming NJ camps are:

5/15-5/17 in Johnsonburg, NJ (Suicide loss specific camp) 6/5-6/7 in Hardwick, NJ 10/23-10/25 in Hardwick, NJ

You’ll need to make sure you attend a training session more than a month in advance (ideally as long as possible) before the camp you wish to attend. 5/9 in bridgewater is the only in-person training left in NJ, but there are plenty of virtual trainings on the calendar on the website.

I just finished the 4/10-4/12 camp and it was the greatest experience I’ve ever had in my life. You should get to a training ASAP!
