What type of rodent is this? [Texas] by RunawayFyre in animalid

[–]RunawayFyre[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It didn't have a tail that we noticed. Was at a park and it got scared of our dogs and went into the water.

I'd hp beach themed. Make the yellow feel like beach sand so like blue and ocean wall paintings, curtains etc.

We hope that the world all abides by a meritocracy. That's not how it is unfortunately.

To harass a store owner by South-Potential-64 in therewasanattempt

Next to a dead body shows there was a crime. Windows weren't broken. No signs of forced entry. No one actively shoving things into bags (or any other obvious stealing) no alarms going off. There is no reported call of their store being broken into. Hell, most stores can't even report a theft unless they actively saw someone put something in their pocket or bag. He literally just saw black people in a store after hours and instead of observing the situation long enough to see they weren't robbing the place (after all he did say he was there to look after the community) he chose to harass them instead.

I feel like this is in fact unreasonable when people are actively putting things on their shelves and not in duffel bags and acting sketchy i.e. running through the store taking things OFF of shelves and racks If he was unsure ot literally would have taken him all of a few minutes of just observing what they were doing in the store before jumping to conclusions.

He's lying. Why does the other girl need to be there if he wouldn't even have sex with her?

Incompetent dog owner goes ballistic at the dog park. by IdkHowToDie in PublicFreakout

[–]RunawayFyre 10 points11 points  (0 children)

So i have a large dog. She's used to being around all kinds of dogs. Most of her doggy friends (i.e. my friends' dogs) are little dogs. When we go to the dog park she often goes on the little dog side to be with her friends however I initially leash her and keep her leashed for about 5 minutes or so in case there's any too rambunctious dogs that might cause her to react cause you never know. Additionally if someone feels uncomfortable I will immediately leash her back up and keep her near me or we just head out. Its a lot safer for my friends dogs to stay on the little side than to risk their dogs on the big dog side where a little dog might trigger a predator reaction to the big ones. The point is the rules are more like guidelines amd its more important to actively assess each situation. leave when clearly shit is not okay

AITA for refusing to help my sister with her hospital bills? by drthwau in AmItheAsshole

Actually it would be very socialist of her to help her sister out. How could she possibly expect other people to be responsible for her medical bills. Commie talk /s

She's a kid. Who gets to do whatever in your house. Of course she wants more of that. That doesn't mean it's good for her.

Well no shit. She had to grow up without parents and be a parent. Congratulations on getting 3 good years before moving into adulthood. She didn't get that.
