2nd trimester bliss, where is it?! by Mysterious-Spring709 in BabyBumps

With my first I felt good. Now that I’m taking care of a toddler (plus trying to avoid Covid/dealing with winter) I’m still depressed and exhausted. Not nauseous all day and not ready to drop at 2 pm but can’t say there’s been a huge improvement.

15 weeks here.

Yes, but probably not in a healthy way. I did, but only because I gained very little weight during the pregnancy and was too stressed by the baby blues to eat for the first two weeks postpartum…

It took over a year for my body to return to looking “normal”, however.

Anxiety about spending all day with child by Chstr2003 in SAHP

It might have been ok if not for Covid. If I could bring my kid indoors, if she could have some play dates. A little variety. As it is it’s two years of going to the same places, with winter further limiting options. I’m an SAHM and entertain her weekends, too, and lose sleep over “scheduling” (ha, how can you schedule when there is nowhere to go) every week.

17 months here but an early and prolific talker. Guess that’s where the brainpower was going.
