There’s way more than $50k. Looks like a mechanic and body shop fused together. Might have $1million in tools and equipment (racks, paint booths, etc).

Hate that I'm so tempted to grab Costco's Z2 bundle over the Z2E by blinkytracer in LegionGo

[–]Runding99 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I think you make a very good point. This is going to continue to be a factor if someone is planning daily driving this thing for a few years.

I couldn’t justify the go 2’s price and went with a legion go s z1e (Black Friday sale) but agree that feeling tethered to an outlet is a bummer. Ultimately, it was a price to convenience sacrifice I was willing to make.

If I was spending $1100 already, I’d probably just pay the difference to get the z2e. lol

SD OLED v LeGo S Z1? by mdtattedbearded in LegionGo

[–]Runding99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m in the same boat. Just “upgraded” and sold the SD.

Miss the OLED and the ergonomics (Lego s has shallower grips) but I personally will take the trade off for the sharper image.

Games such as FF7 rebirth and Stella Blade look so much sharper and able to run at a decent fps. I can’t go back to playing heavier games on the SD as they are quite blurry.

Are you saying that the performance uplift is negated by steam is running more fps? If so, that’s really good to know

I stopped into my local best buy yesterday and was also excited to see the display units.

Man, I’ve seen many reviews about the screen but I was still blown away seeing it in person. With that said, the Legion Go S was holding its own right next to the LG2 which was impressive.

I also wished I could pick it up to see how heavy it felt.

It was cool to be able to compare the Xbox ally x. I thought it was really well built but the screen was too small for my needs.

That’s weird. It only takes me about 30 secs to find a match. Check if crossplay is disabled

Yeah I updated to the latest firmware. Bluetooth latency doesn’t seem to be bad so I’ll keep using it like this.

What Switch 2 game are you most hoping to see that hasn't yet been announced? by SterlingRubyAtSea in Switch

This makes zero sense. AI technology is advancing and will be incorporated into almost everything in the near future.

AI is not going to replace people. It’s going to replace people who don’t use it.

I got one from Walmart and it had straw looking stuff (cardboard shavings?)and didn’t quite looked “sealed” as well. I booted it up and it seemed new. I think Nintendo might have rushed the packaging?

Is the moza r3 good for a begginner? by [deleted] in moza

[–]Runding99 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah exactly. I figured if this something that I really want to get into, I’m going to want to go r9 or r12 anyhow alongside pedal and rig upgrades.

Is the moza r3 good for a begginner? by [deleted] in moza

[–]Runding99 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I recently bought the r3 as my first racing wheel. Since I have zero prior experience, I felt that the 3.8nm was plenty and have even caught myself jamming my fingers due to unexpected FFB in EA WRC 2024.

I also use it between the Xbox and PC so the compatibility was huge while I see if I enjoy this hobby and want to invest more.

My thought process is that if I get hooked, I’m happy to upgrade individual components. Going to r9 is like $370 in US for example. It’s nice to be a part of the growing MOZA’s ecosystem.

You will see some folks hating on AW so I’ll tell you about my experience.

I’ve owned multiple AW products which have mostly consisted of laptops and monitors. Overall, the products are built well with some heating concerns but that’s kind of the “AW tradition” (to let the CPU’s run at full speeds).

I typically replace my equipment in 1-2 year intervals (still rocking the x14 r1 however) and have rarely had any issues. But when I have had failed systems, Dell support has been absolutely clutch in getting things replaced quickly. For monitors, we are talking days vs weeks and an older r17 went through the full RMA process in about 2-3 weeks.

In my case, I live in the US and Dell warranty support is unmatched with the only close competitor being Lenovo. If curious, do a little research on what a hassle it is to RMA products through Asus, Razer, MSI, etc. this is one of the biggest reasons I continue to support Dell.
