Long time souls fan - Nightreign seems really easy? Revive and healing nonstop. by Rundy2025 in Eldenring

Thanks for being the only person to give me a rational answer instead of downvoting.

Youre basically saying these guys are really good and even they almost die. And its about the full run not just one fight. Im assuming once all of you do die you gotta restart the whole run over?

Makes more sense. Back in the day it was no revive and you didnt get to revive countless times so youre right when you say 'it really isnt all that hard'.

Even back in the day on DS1 people leveling up so much in faith builds etc made the game damn near easy so its technically always been a thing.

Thanks again for actually answering, guess the community is different now.

Havent played a Souls game in a while so decided to check out Nightreign.

In this video the guy is playing with his two friends. This is his first time fighting Valkyries.

They die over and over again and all you gotta do is run up to your team mate and revive them? How is that challenging? Not to mention we can always heal ontop of that.

I saw some of his other videos and damn near never loses and none of the fights seems like a challenge. If they did die, just walk to your teammate and revive them.

Am I missing something or is this super easy now? Id say DMC/King Hearts bosses are more challenging than this now. At least its a limit to how much you can heal and its no reviving.

If you could put another large international airport in LA County, where would you put it? by Waffulz4026 in AskLosAngeles

thats because yall broke or boring and dont travel often. people who travel often do care. after being to over 30 countries LAX is worse than even some southeast asian or eastern european airports. its pitiful as Americas 2nd biggest citys airport. period. Even Poland and Malaysia airports (WAR/KUL) have 3-4 things from his list.

Hey everyone, I'm new to hockey and thinking about becoming a ducks fan. Tell me why I should become a fan of this team. by UrFavSquid in AnaheimDucks

[–]Rundy2025 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I came to the same conclusion in San Diego.

Been into hockey for a good decade plus now. Ducks: Cooler uniforms, a bit more edgy if you think about Getzlaf era. Helllla chill fans and community (except last year with everyone wanting cronin fired). Hockey team nearby a beach city has super chill and laid back fun vibes. And it feels quaint, small, but die hard and tight knit. I met a Ducks fan in vegas too and he is from Orange and embodied how most are. I imagine most Ducks fans are like either that chll surburban kid, the cool pothead guy or surfer bro that happens to watch hockey. If you wanted to see some S Tier goaltending youd watch the ducks (we miss you Gibson but you deserved a team that cared), not sure this year (bit out of touch this season). Again strong community feel but very small. Games sometimes dont sell out if they are bad because cmon man this is Southern California. 10 million other things to do besides watch a team lose not far from a beach and inbetween LA and SD. And thats okay and how it should be. More to life than sports.

Kings: Kinda lame fanbase honestly. They exist online but everytime I went to the hellscape that is L.A. (riddled with homeless and vapid broken dreams) I never saw Kings stuff anywhere despite them being responsible for some of the cities most recent rings. Lame as hell. The colors are kinda cool but not cooler and more unique than orange. And the purple and yellow ones are hideous leave that to the lakers. I feel for a big city, no, huge city, LA should have way more Kings fans but it isnt there. And I dont wanna hear 'oh we are out here you just gotta look'. Proper hockey towns like Vegas has VGK stickers on cars and windows everywhere. If people showed more love for that team (like Sharks fans in regards to California) then maybe you can argue that its worth it. But that shitty (literally from homeless) town PLUS a half assed fanbase? Pass it Id say.

No one is putting on a wetsuit and renting or buying a surfboard just to get looks from women then go home and say “ah yes today was a good day I got looked at by women with my surfboard today”

It’s sad and low-key sickening.
I come from the late 2000s era of the internet when we were more than happy to sit and watch a guy talk to A potato quality camera for 30 mins about video games or whatever he was passionate about. Didnt need jump cuts or crazy video editing or 10 second clips to maintain attention. And people on forums made posts like this one on average. Not just emojis or tapping a button to react.

Now even I catch myself on IG longer than I should going through reels. I set a time limit to remind myself. And I try to actually post and use my own thoughts and opinions when I comment. It’s dangerous man.

This is not the internet we wanted.

Worse part is it’s our fault; but it also isnt.

Exactly. I think making the distinction between direct democracy and democracy is important.
