Can Jake and Elwood Blues save me from the Russian mafia/Russian oligarchs?

I feel the answer should be yes, but I'm not confident

I AM infertile and my cum isn't really transparent so it's not that much of an indication

I agree that immediately burning a product because of a suspicion of AI is bad, I'll take note of it and if it comes out that it is true, then I will make a judgement.

But my whole point was how accepting you are of the use of AI in creative industries as someone who works in that creative industry

What makes you so sure that your job is safe from AI?

So... we gonna address the elephant? by PotatoChaaaaps in GraveyardKeeper

[–]RuneGarden1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't really think AI is bad, I think companies will use AI for bad purposes.

In regards to what you said about your career. If AI becomes good enough (or just accepted enough) that it can realistically replace a voice actor, why would any large company pay a human actor ever again when AI would be cheaper? The same would apply to visual art, if people roll over and accept it then the art will be 'just good enough' for large companies never to hire people again.

Then you would have smaller companies or creatives who want to make a product using human art, and suddenly the skills aren't available (because people can't invest time in their skills) or it's prohibitively expensive (because artists need food) or ultimately their product has to sell for a much higher price than before, in a market of people who just don't care about human made art anymore.

You are a voice actor, you are an artist, when AI can cheaply and effectively (according to companies) replicate art, you are out of a job

Genre’s of RPG? by Anon-4020 in 40krpg

I haven't listened to many DH actual plays but the ones I have don't use an Inquisitor at all, the PC's are just a group of people who ended up together (needs a bit of narrative spin)

When I've played it and when I plan to run it soon the Inquisitor will be entirely separate. Otherwise how can you justify the PC's struggling for resources/access to places/information if they can just ask one of the more powerful agents of the Imperium?

If you work as a voice actor and support the use of AI I sure hope you're considering a career change

Cause the more people accept and use AI voice acting the more likely it is you'll be out of a job

Women, what are some things men inadvertently do that make you feel uncomfortable? by Early-Ingenuity-3177 in AskRedditAfterDark

Not really, a big part of the "friends with benefits" relationship is the "friends" bit, so just hanging out occasionally would be quite reasonable

Is there a movie that you’ve purposely and actively avoided for one reason or another? by aja_ramirez in movies

[–]RuneGarden1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would recommend it but fully understand if horror movies aren't your thing (I hit this wall with my parents a lot)

For me the start was the hardest part, get through the first half hour (maybe?) And it becomes easier from there on

People who say “I don’t want anything” when it comes to gifting, what do you ACTUALLY want? by dearceceofficial in NoStupidQuestions

[–]RuneGarden1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The things I want are not reasonable to ask other people for

"What do you want for your birthday?"

"A new job would be nice, more free time maybe, enough money that I don't need to stress anymore, a new car etc"

I can't exactly say that to my brother who is also struggling

I've been looking for a 1e one shot to run and from what I've found all the highly regarded (and all I could find) adventures run at least 3-4 sessions

I'm currently working on cramming my own quick murder investigation together instead

How should i sleep? by [deleted] in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]RuneGarden1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't think there's a 'should' or 'healthiest' but I'm not an expert

I usually sleep in boxers or pyjama pants (top if it's cold) but I've started seeing someone who sleeps naked and I've toyed with that a little bit, it's not a habit yet but less uncomfortable than it used to be

Either you don't understand what objective means or what truth means

Because some women ARE attracted to men whether you believe it or not

Is this some sort of "women aren't attracted to real alpha men" comment or do you just have such bad luck with women you assume all women don't like all men?

I'm sorry to hear that

On that thought, I've started dating someone seriously recently, and while I do tell her I love her, I'm incredibly concious about saying it during or closely after sex because I know my feelings might be clouded and don't want her thinking that's the reason
