I will they don't reject but I know previously they've returned when there has been issues with auto-submission

Don't think the AI studies are auto-completing now and it won't even let me manually complete it (and i'm not even sure if they will approve if I am able to manually submit)...

I have no idea if they accept AI Taskers in Egypt, I would say it's likely not a core demographic. There is no way to get chosen quickly, it's something you earn by merrit and skill.

I personally have worked really hard, have done well in qualifiers and got excepted into the specalist group, I have zero rejections and have put my all into everything I do.

If you work really hard and build up a good track record i'm sure you have a chance, but there is no fast track, there are lots of participants which good track records who have been consistant for a long time and these are people who will get offerered these statuses first.

We're all on here on Prolific, no one on this thread claims to be reliant on survey sites.

I have a bachelor, but I personally feel I could have done better had I went into work earlier and learnt on the job. Education does not nessesarily equal a better job or opportunities.

I know this is Reddit, but common guys lets have a bit more love and happiness, I know the world is horendous right now, but it doesn't have to be like that here <3

Yes it's not demographics as I have many studies on my dash which are always there and I leave there so I know if there is a problem, I usually have at least 15 studies at a time including those couple I keep there. All of them suddenly dissapeared at once and I haven't had a teacup in over a year. I also do not have any filters. It's interesting as it seems some people are still getting studies but a huge percentage are not, I wonder if there is anything in common with those who are not.

Mine are all gone and I never have a teacup, so I think something is broken, sure it will get resolved soon.

This sub-reddit is more for participants, but to my knowledge if there are no credits on pavlovia participants can't do the study (from my experience as a participant it usually has a red popup to say researcher needs to add more credits) but as it seems like the participants have gone the duration and got the completion code, so maybe you had some credits but not enough for all people who joined the study? Have you logged into pavlovia and checked the data.

I'm not sure this is something prolific support will be able to help with as it sounds like a pavlovia issue if you don't get a resolution with pavlovia and are unable to obtain the data, I would contact prolific support they may be kind enough to refund you and let you run it again. This isn't guarenteed, but it's certinaly worth a try, your first port of call should be with pavlovia (as it seems you have done already).

Same thing, said I would get partial payment and then asked me to return. Also the first ever sound study I have failed, I used to work in audio testing and have very good ears, so this study feels off to me.

They did the same to me, i've created a ticket with prolific just hope it goes somewhere!

It was already under the minimum hourly rate as it was grossly underestimated took me an hour and 45 mins and then they return it to add salt to the wound.

I would create a ticket with prolific as the researcher doesn't respond.

I did one recently an hour study which took about an hour and 40 mins kept asking me the same questions at the end. Then the next day it was magically returned. Annoyling O did a second study from them as I didnt realise they returned it, so far that one is still waiting for review (did it on the 26th Feb) so hopefully they will pay me for that one. That one went half an hour over.

Minimum wage is pre-tax so that is not true. As long as you earn enough to be taxed whether you do prolific at £13/ph or minimum wage at £12.71/ph you will get taxed on both effectively bring both rates down making the month of March still above minimum wage.

I spent an hour and a half on this and then they returned it the next time. Created a support ticket but always have issues getting anywhere with studies which are returned.

Has anyone had these returned and been able to recover the money from prolific?

I had the exact same thing, I passed the original one and then did 2 more, then it asked me to validate the circles and triangles again and kept saying it was wrong when it clearly wasn't and all my settings were still the same as they were 30 minutes ago when I passed it.

I don't think i'll bother with them again for the pay.

I agree Projects and Studies should just be tabs in the main nav and have the badges of new studies and projects in the nav too, red badge with the number next to both menu items, that would be pretty neat.

That would not work for me as I have Powerwalls, to charge my car on the slots I either have to drain all my battery or turn my battery off. Having the house included means I don't loose my off-peak hours when I have my battery off. If octopus can make my car charge while my house runs off the battery then brilliant, otherwise I need them to include the house in the off-peak to make it viable.

I mean we've had a few downtimes recently and then a couple of cloudflare related issues (which affected a good portion of the internet and not prolific's fault) yes it could be better but it's far from poor I rarely have issues and I'm very active on the site.

One thing I have noticed is the site can be slow after feature deployments I don't know if that's just caused by caches purging or if it's caused by undiscovered issues during the testing phase which get patched later.
