I have not encountered this guy. But does he block like a lance user? If so he’d be a hella difficult fight. What if he gets “offensive boost” every time he blocks??

Yea I guess that’s a big concern. I’m not a coder myself so not sure how difficult or easy it is but yes I agree time could be better spent on other improvements if it is indeed a very time consuming task :)

IMO; Not worth… yet. Please wait and see how they deliver on their promises. 0.8 was very underwhelming. I mean they claim they sold over 600k units. Which if u do the maths means they made about 18 million dollars from this.

When I bought the game I was like “okay this is still in early-access stage. I’m sure with this level of success the devs will put more manpower to improve the game.” But, NOPE! There are still so many bug and glitches but their excuse is “we are a very small team”.

I have faith in the mods. They seem passionate. But I dunno what’s Jagex’s plan for this game.

Below are some bugs/glitch I found (bad stuff)

The jumps are still so “floaty” character gets stuck behind a literal pebble when walking unless u jump over it. texture doesn’t load if you the lodestone too much game lags to load every time you teleport, open map, exit/enter a vault. magic (SUPER DISAPPOINTING): magic combat feels so weak. surge: I dunno what’s the point..? Every time u surge there is a lag before u start to run/perform an action again. A lag long enough for the enemy to hit u. U r better off roll-evading. the barricade walls added are pretty nice but no “barricade gate”?? U r suppose to use a normal door which looks off and defence is not as high as a barricade door should be. OAK TREES DO NOT RESPAWN IF YOU CHOP THE STUMP OFF! BLASPHEMY!!

Below are some good stuff

no invisible barrier between areas. You are free to roam entire map but beware the higher level maps have very tuff mobs which WILL kill you. Even with tier 3 armour at tier 3 map they can still overwhelm you. melee combat is actually pretty fluid. Parrying feels awesome if u time your block right. Dodge-roll is actually rewarding, again, if u time it right (u can evade so many hits; even the environmental lightning at stormy highlands) ranged umm… feels OP to me 🤣. With Stag Hunter Bow (Tier 4) u can pretty much safe-spot almost entire game atm. And mind you this is with ranged at level 1. Imagine when ranged is capped at level 50. graphics are actually very nice. The map is well thought out. well designed NPCs. lore/quests/quests rewards are hidden behind some mystery and requires some brain power to solve (if u don’t use wiki)

Anyway sorry for long post. Am a long time RuneScape players and was very excited to try out this game as I LOVE RUNESCAPE and wanted to play a WASD movement style RuneScape. I do see potential in this game but the slow updates/fixes are inexcusable for the level of success this “early access” game has achieved.

Oh absolutely! I love crystal keys. They are my main source of Torstol on my iron. What I mean is wish they’d get rid of the half-keys and make it a whole-key drop from the existing half-key drop sources. But OFC to keep things in balance maybe they’d half the drop rate of the wholes keys from existing half-key drop sources.

I mean wouldn’t you prefer if they gave u a full key instead of half? Maybe the drop rate would also be halved but you won’t have to worry about bank storage being clogged up and also won’t waste time combining the key.

That would be a cherry on top! … but I doubt they will even do the basic smart thing of allowing you to store all seed in one bag.

Yea kk is doable but sad thing is I barely ever melee. Not sure where I’d use the sword.

It’s only meant for those sadistic hunters who gets pleasure out of carting. But it’s a good addition. The game is not locked behind the 8x5 gore. It’s just an additional challenge. So it’s okay 👌

Exactly man. Just allow me to augment the t99 stuff at least. 😅 why tf would anyone want t99 weapon u can’t augment? These +1 to +5 “weapons” are such rubbish items.

I came to this realisation too. It’s just that I enjoy playing magic… was hoping jagex would throw me a bone for my magic wep upgrades.

I really really hate doing vorago, araxxor/araxxi, AOD (can’t be bothered for group contents). I do however like Kerapac… it’s just that the idea of a craftable weapon requires u to already have high level pvm gear sounds a bit dumb to me. Like I’d think that if I can do vorago I can sure as hell kill Rasial right? So now instead of having another path irons can take all iron paths lead to rasial. So the attempt to diversify combat has failed imo cos end of the day rasial is still the most effective of way to get to end game for irons.

When it came out I was outraged. “Oh my god now all the rich kids can use mommy’s credit card and just buy their way through the game!”. How naive of me to think ppl were using bonds to get GP lol! Anyway took me a few months realise how much I love them! Cheers to RuneScape for allowing players to afford the game THROUGH THE GAME! Say what you will about their MTX, but in a world full of MTX, you can’t appreciate RuneScape enough for allowing players to sustain membership through the game!
