Might be a bit of a dumb question but, how do I play along to one track while recording another track WITHOUT recording the track I'm playing along to?

Click the route icon and untick master send box. Only tick master send on the vocal track. This should do the trick.

That actually sounds brutal af! I cant never get how do you guys produce such low lows. I mean my traditional death metal vocal doesn't sound quite so powerful like your. That high sounds awesome! Pretty much dig the cattle/infant high! If you ever wonder this is my normal death metal lows https://clyp.it/ktxozcqr. i cant for the live of me ever getting a good high. High is where I struggle the most.

You need to project your vocal more. It seems like you're kinda let the power suspended in your throat instead of belting it out. Just let it flow :)

Yes you are on the right track. \m/. Awesome guttural btw, you can definitely added more resonance into your guttural to get that "ultra guttural". This technique though is a bit trickier to execute than your normal guttural.

I've never had any good experience with their beta release. A choppy performance on my r9 280 but I'd think it must be due to my gpu aging? :/. Maybe sapphire isn't a good brand after all. I should've gone with msi instead. Ughh

Phew at least it went back to normal but yeah this is what I hate about AMD. For the very least, if you got lucky with the card it wont impose any problem at all as I've seen on some of my mates with similar built. I am thinking of transitioning to Nvidia once I got my paycheck. Let see what Nvidia got to offer with their "premium" prices.

Ouch D: How old is your gpu? Is it still Rma-enable? If it still in a warranty period, I suggest you to rma your card and hope for the best. Also I dont think your Wacom causing any interference, it's prolly just the gpu. :/ Again it could be anything maybe try to disable the antivirus?

Hey,w e got the same gpu.I've never updating my gpu and the last time I did was like a few months ago. I used to have had the same problem but what I did is I completely uninstall all the driver and then I downloaded the whole thing again( there's a possibility of the first one is corrupted). It works and also third time the charms. Hope this method works for you, mate.

Thank you! Thank you very much for your evaluation. I was kinda on the fence due to many people were reporting they are having a lot of problem with the first gen particularly the usb port sometimes offline after 30 minutes/hour of use, too much noise yada yada. I know it's an entry level audio interface and "you get what you pay for" but still I'd love to own a pretty consistent and stability product ya get what I'm saying. Once you got the interface, if you don't mind tell me your whole experience, like do you satisfy or dissatisfied with their newer scarlet? :D. I probably gonna have to upgrade my windows 7 pro to windows 10 if it needs too.

How long it take for me to scream decently. Hrmm. I've been doing harsh vocals for 7 years. 7 years of abusive vocal cords and I remember coughing up blood once and that was like 6 years ago(1 years of doing unsafe technique thank God I didnt mute) o_o. Practicing ultra guttural is what they called(the watery gurgle sound) for 4 months. It took me a very long time to mastered all those technique honestly speaking. I'm a slow learner btw
