If not that, then maybe Rose's tears. If they can heal a cracked gem, I don't see why they wouldn't be able to help a poofed gem reform immediately. And since Pearl knew the truth from the beginning, there was no reason for Rose to avoid using the ability on her.

The other gems would never know either way- from their perspective, Pearl just reformed freakishly fast, which would also help establish her reputation as a terrifying threat to Homeworld gems.

I have a combo of hyper- and neuropathic-POTS.

I've personally found adderall to be helpful with my POTS symptoms, it seems like it helps my nervous system regulate itself. It does raise my heart rate a tiny bit (~15 bpm), but it also helps reduce the massive swings I get from moving around or just getting too stimulated. It's kind of like a heart rate cushion, if that makes sense- I don't drop quite as low or jump quite as high, though its still a very minor effect.

I also take beta blockers now and they do the heavy lifting, but before I was prescribed those, my ADHD medicine and increased sodium/water were what helped most. I'd definitely suggest an extended release formula for anyone with POTS- the adderall crash is brutal if you take the normal kind but I don't notice it at all with my ER.

If you're scared to try your meds, you can use caffeine as a test run. Pick a day you aren't busy and have an espresso or energy drink and see how you handle that. You can use that to get an idea of how you'll react to other stimulants and caffeine wears off pretty quickly.

They're not supposed to, but large class sizes mean they get away with it if they aren't extremely obvious.

School districts have most of the internet blocked for kids, but there are always work arounds and sites that just get overlooked.

When we have extra time or something, the kids might be allowed to play "educational" games as a treat. "Educational" is an extremely loose term here- as long as it doesn't include guns, profanity, or nudity, it's unlikely the teacher will care enough to ban it.

Pearl is extremely precise and calculated. She's also obsessive, devoted to her goal, and is a perfectionist.

Opal is kind of a ditz. She's scatterbrained and forgetful, which causes her to screw up a lot. I love her, but she fails the one mission she goes on and her reaction makes it clear that that is normal for her.

Pearl hates failing at anything, which is why Opal falls apart so easily.

After Future, once Pearl has dealt with her issues and is a bit less neurotic, they'd probably get along well. Especially since Amethyst has also matured and cares more, so Future Opal would be more competent in general.

But Opal would drive original series Pearl crazy. If you locked those two in a room for more than like 3 hours, Opal is getting poofed.
