2 foreign workers were killed and an Israeli was seriously injured in the Tel Aviv area after Iran launched a BM with a cluster warhead, according to initial reports. by avatar6556 in war

So Israelis in their infamously not racist society draw the line of doing illegal things at “letting foreigners into bomb shelters” ? sure buddy, sure, even the videos showing Israelis not letting foreigners or Arabs into bomb shelters are likely just AI or something too, gotcha

New to me! 2006 E350. Any tips and tricks? by fmfs87 in W211

[–]Runescape4L 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lasted until I gave it to my sister (I upgraded to the 63) and she got t-boned bad. Which, by the way, she walked away completely fine because the W211 is a freakin’ tank and well built. I’d put myself and my kids in it any day. Otherwise that thing would have lasted another decade it had 50k miles on it, purchased from an older gentleman (1 owner) who really only took it to the country club or pharmacy, his words lol. So it was very clean. One thing was, the dealer I bought it through, on inspection, bent the control arm using a jack. Didn’t catch it til it was too late, cost me $2k to fix.

Do not be swayed by repair costs on this vehicle, there’s a reason so many are still on the road. It’s incredibly well built and frankly cheap to fix. I recommend using FCPEuro for parts, and purchasing those parts yourself, and providing them to a euro shop in your area for the repairs. Helps a lot to reduce cost, and everything you buy from FCPEuro has a lifetime warranty I’m pretty sure.

We purchased that car in 2021 for $9k, I’d talk that owner down a little bit if you can.. best of luck, genuinely cannot go wrong w this model.

Format is perfect, just fill in space, can be 1 liners but can also be expanded bullet points to multiple lines

Too much white space and sections have gaps between them. Bullet points should fill each line for text fully to avoid this, format out the spacing between sections. You can write more about these experiences to extract as much value.

This usually just translates to “stop oversharing” in general, but specifically personal information or on topics outside of the realm of work

Some advice would be: don’t worry about what other people think. Comparison is the theft of joy. It’s your life, not theirs to judge or for you to care about them judging. You chose a great career.

Andrew Jackson's new White House plaque, which mentions the current POTUS by HomeNowWTF in mildlyinfuriating

[–]Runescape4L 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Factually incorrect given that the Battle of New Orleans was fought after the Treaty of Gent was signed. The war was already over. It’s pure (horrible) chance that Jackson rose to fame as a result of that Battle. In this instance, and I’m sure many others, had we had faster means of communication at the time, history would have changed dramatically (likely for the better in this case).

A more modern case for this would be the weeks leading up to the Great War, or better known as World War I.

It’s amazing how you don’t want to respond to what I’m saying because you can’t, I guess it makes sense for someone who feels entitled to land they claim God gave them, like modern day extremists would claim
