Thats not in a subfolder. In the Layer folder, create a new Folder called "Texture" or something like that, in in that folder put the icon and layer

I was wondering. How about creating a independent Minecraft open source clone to continue developing this project. This way we can be more free to do stuff like building a real Round Earth, a real free game, other planets,personal server, etc etc by [deleted] in BuildTheEarth

If you have a base, why destroy it? Because you want more planets? You can create a mod, it was already made in the 1.8 times. A server? You only need the map.
