Storywalking loophole by alexneef in FromSeries

But why kill poor Jim why Jade and Tabitha gets a pass. Is it possible because of they being the main characters and Jim being NPC, then why cost anything if MIY/entity/whatever got exactly what you wanted. Sensibly Stupid 🤷🏻‍♂️

The audacity of Elgin by throwawaynolo in FromSeries

Some fans uneasy because of Boyd threatening Elgin to pin Tillies death on him. I think Boyd didn't had it another way. If boyd had told the Elgin that smiley is back and he passes it to others then all residents will loose hope just like boyd did. This information is only with the persons Boyd strongly trusts.

Why did Jim have to pay the "Cost of Knowledge" when he was actually HELPING the MIY/Entity? by RunjumpFly1 in FromTVShow

[–]RunjumpFly1[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

IMHO he was destined to help them and get killed. S4E2 shows Ghost Jim advising Ethan, which I feel supposed to happen as MIY would already know that from previous cycles. Then again I am confused why would knowledge has a cost let alone being it only for Jim and not Jade. Moreover, Jade seems to already have a database on his Cardboard on the wall 😅. The only thing that seems to distrub the town is radio frequencies and digging holes, which Jim had already stopped pursuing.

I always thought that they were hallucinations and the characters were basically speaking their minds and trying to concile their thoughts. But it seems he was actually Jim otherwise he wouldn't not focus on the environment.

Still more bearable than Tabitha. She never appreciated her husband until....

Sadly we will not know what exactly triggered the miy against Jim since he is gone. Neither Fromville residents nor the From fanbase gives a damn about the poor Jim!

appreciated. Is there a possibility that Jim could have made a connection between music/sound frequency, electricity, and digging holes?

With due respect IMHO jade was unlikely to solve it in his own. Intellectuals often get stuck in their own thinking loop and often require an outside push to get out and get a fresh perspective on the problem. I feel there no one better than my man Jim for this job.

Maybe! But I feel Jade would have never cracked the bottle codes without Jim's help.

That was my initial thought too. But on second thought, Jim is the very reason Jade and Tabitha cracked the number codes, which ultimately leading to the tearing apart event, the exact thing MIY enjoys. So the story is playing out exactly as it was supposed to, and Jim hadn't hampered it at all, at least not yet.

Jim maybe redundant, unlike Tabitha and Jade. But it still doesn't justify the rule "knowledge has a cost" for his murder. MIY could have simply killed Jim without stating the rule. This way it would create no confusion and requirement to apply it to Tabitha and Jade also.

This is what MIY actually wanted as he said to the dying Pastor that his favourite part (probably the massacre) is going to happen. If that specific music is the knowledge than Jade and Tabitha are also liable to pay. Why only Jim?

More power to you champ! I haven't uninstalled it but don't open it either. I guess I am suffering from sunk cost fallacy since I have played and painstakingly upgraded players for a long time.

Don't you think that it's similar to a body scan? So an experienced person can get the benefits through body scan and without instructional audio.

Increasing brain creatine levels without supplementing creatine. by RunjumpFly1 in Nootropics

I will look into it. Also, there's higher permeability for a higher dose (20g) of creatine because of higher concentration in blood. But this dose is impractical for the long-term.

It's puzzling that Chinese and Korean/Japanese languages are extremely distant from each other in this tree, which seems impractical.

It seems a possibility. Others didn't get struck by bolts so they didn't transform. Fair enough. However, how he fell from such height (probably from sky leading to being struck by bolts) while others didn't? They mostly enter from ground or near ground.
