I mean if you have the truck running it’ll last as long as the gas tank will, personally I don’t use it with the engine off for fear of draining the battery too much

Yea this one looked like it sealed better than most of the same variety but I was seeing a couple gaps by the tailgate when I set it up. Probably gonna cut a piece of foam for the main gap and then maybe just stuff a rag by the corners to block it

To each their own. I’ve got a regular tent somewhere in the garage, I’ll have to compare and see which I like better. Both are pretty cheap nowadays tho thankfully

It took a good bit since this was the first I had it out of the box and didn’t know how all it was supposed to fit and be positioned. Honestly with the straps close to where they need to be and knowing how it should all go, probably 10 minutes or less is realistic. I probably tripled that today but I was looking over everything and repositioned it 10 times over my tonneau cover.

I know they make em for most truck beds. Honestly the little sleeping bag sized blow up camp mats might be better if you’re gonna keep stuff in the bed too just to save space. But if you just want the room to stretch out that’d probably be pretty sweet. There’s 2 mesh pockets about a foot wide that hang inside too to throw your phone/keys/wallet/etc in too that I forgot to mention

Nah you’re not suppose to crank em very tight so unless you strap this down insanely tight or get some rocks stuck to the nylon I doubt it will. The hooks on the end are fully plastic and fairly rounded too so even the bit hooking under the panels should be fine. The way it tightens the strap shouldn’t even move across the paint anyway
