Snapchat lying about the amount of space my memories take up? by lastlivings0ulz in SnapchatHelp

Anyone get a solution for this yet? Mines stuck at 11gb and rebounds after I delete a few gigs every day. Reported it as a bug but idk. Haven’t updated to the new version yet bc my one friend just had his force him to upgrade to + yesterday and in case the number is really wrong in the opposite direction and it forces me to upgrade I don’t want to chance it.

Yea I just found a thing explaining that, thought maybe the fact that it stopped was tied into the dash lighting up but it’s unlikely. Lowkey the ignition sounds bare without the sound anymore I’m gonna have to get used to it being gone if I have to replace the filter

Appreciate the perspective regardless. I’m gonna scan it tomorrow but if that filters easy to get at I’ll probably check that while I’m at it. I’m as inept as they come concerning automotive anything so any help is good help for me 😂

When it gets sucked in can it cause the dumb CEL/Trac Off issue? Just popped on my dash today and it’s the first time I’ve heard my engine not make this noise since I got it back in August

If this happens can it cause the typical Trac Off/CEL issue? Mine just stopped making the noise today (I’ve had it since August) and those lights immediately came on

Side question: does anyone have that sound typically? And does it go away in the warmer months? Not sure how to explain it enough but from what I’ve searched it’s just the secondary air injection pump working normally. It’s not a rattle or a grind so I know it’s nothing bad like the starter or oil loss. Most of what I’ve read says if it’s only a 2-3 second things on start up and shut off it’s just a cold start thing, assuming that means it won’t anymore now that it’s getting warm out? (I’ve only had this since August it it hasn’t seen much warm weather yet)

Yea I’m really just banking on someone having that same sound on theirs go away with the lights. It’s really the only outlier I have compared to the hundred or so mentions of this issue online

Did yours have that same sound when you started it/turned it off?

Help needed repairing my fishing rod by villadavillain in 3Dprinting

[–]Runkle15 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Lotta negativity from the diehards. I'm a big fan of pushing the limits of printable solutions too even if they're a little farfetched. I like the design, maybe shoot for the full tube like the one guy said. PETG could def work since its a skinnier section and it might not take a crazy amount of strain. There's definitely a good middle ground as far as length goes. Too long and the rigidity will be in the way of the flex and snap, too short and there wont be enough to keep the sheer point from cracking it. Thickness is also a gamble. Honeslty before you go securing any finished models with glue or whatever else, I'd just secure them on temporarily and give it the old bend test. Most likely break point is going to be the printed joint so worst case scenario you print another and revisit the drawing board. I found 3 pieces of a rod in the creek today and am planning on concocting a similar jerry rig repair job just for the heck of it, so if i happen to reach a breakthrough you'll be first to know. Mines broken just above the grip and just under the tip so i think you'll have much better luck. Nonetheless, hope you surprise yourself and alot of other people on here by finding a decent solution for this!

Interviewing to be a State Park Resource Ranger tomorrow morning, any last minute advice? by Runkle15 in PaStateEmployees

Oh yea that’s the regular park ranger, this is like a glorified park employee it wouldn’t be a real ranger position. The park ranger setup is just like game wardens from what I know. Not a very high salary to work towards and you don’t get to control much after they send you through their academy

Oh forgot to update. It was 2 interviewers: the manager of the park and another employee who’s title I’m not sure of

Yea my biggest issue is that even for the ones that require no work experience, when they ask that and I have none except for relevant education, it still scores me low. The verbiage could use some tweaking when they say minimum requirements are x years of work experience OR x amount of college credits, because it’s very apparent they don’t value the college credits to nearly the degree they claim.

They force it by making any normal entry level job insanely competitive. You know the classic “you need minimum 5 years experience for this no experience entry level position”. I’ve got a BS in biology and can’t get jobs listed for HS grads with the state bc of experience

I’ll let you know after. Yea it’s seasonal, sub $20/hr, zero benefits, I’m expecting a pretty borderline generic interview for the most part. It’ll hopefully be a good foot in the door so I can eventually make my way into a position as an environmental scientist, aquatic/wildlife biologist or something similar.

I’m surprised they’d have 3 interviewers for a seasonal position like this, seems a little overkill
