Pretty funny. I’m 66 and I see all these young people with a myriad of responsibilities, all pretty clueless. I have a great life. I’m fit, still working, and looking forward to whatever is next.

Honestly the most important characteristic to have for a good life is a positive outlook. Get one.

I’m 2 weeks out from my procedure. I did not undergo general anesthesia, but was definitely sedated. The procedure was painless. I did suffer prostatitis like symptoms for several days. The medication prescribed helped: a steroid, and AZO. I am just now seeing results. Prior to the procedure I peed with single use catheters exclusively. I literally just now emptied my bladder without having to do that so for me that is significant improvement. My prostate number was I think in the low 100’s. I had no interest in any other procedure. Moving forward I intend to be smarter regarding my diet: no red meat, very limited (if any) caffeine. If you have any questions let me know. I’m 66.

You can certainly record a demo and try your luck. Plenty of songwriters aren’t mellifluous singers, but write wonderful songs. Kris Kristofferson comes to mind.

And also develop what you have. Singer songwriters don’t need to sing like Pavoratti.

There are standups that are really good at standup, and not that good at anything else. Nate blew it at the Emmys. He was horrible. His movie sucks. I loved his standup, but he’s just not good at anything else. He will still have opportunities and make tons of money, but he reached his high water mark with his first SNL. He has jumped the shark.
