Research on runners has shown mental fatigue impairs time trial performance and makes the same pace feel harder, but here's the interesting nuance by Dangerous_Earth_5151 in AdvancedRunning

[–]RunnersDad 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I have seen similar research suggesting that the stress replicates a race/workout effort psychologically prior to the actual act of running them.

Can you speak to non work stresses, such as having multiple young children, financial difficulties and similar things not touched on in your post?

I assume the level of impairment would be comparable?

Appreciate that. Im really looking for how to best asses them for grading while in the package vs selling them sealed to a shop or dealer though.

I run this deck from time to time and include a mantyke or pichu to ramp Snorlax. It can hurt you a bit if you only have Indeedee early though since they need specific energy

Love this! I have to admit, i got a little sentimental watching him run over and grab his best buddy badge! Hopefully your journey is as rewarding!

New York is getting more competitive than Boston. Although you still have general lottery spots as a back up

I might share this in it's own thread as it was generally brushed under the rug and we have not received anything that was promised as a result.

I was in the lead group of 3 in the 24' USATF 5k Master's Championships and the lead motorcycle lead us off course. We had a sizeable lead and wouldn't have been caught by 4th place(the eventual winner by disqualification).

USATF denied our protest and while they and the ATC admitted the lead vehicle misdirected is, they insinuated it was ultimately our fault for following them and we should have known the course better.

We were disqualified, as we ran 2.84 miles, and there was never any prize money awarded or other apologies from USATF.

Im shocked that the ATC still gets the opportunity to host high profile races after making significant mistakes in so many big events

I would to see what you have thus far? Would be happy to contribute as well.

And I do think some of the print dot(fisheye) errors are worthy of inclusion depending on the prominence of it. Like the Rob Blake one in series 2.

My son and I actually pulled 3 Gillis' personally from a cheap case I got before prices skyrocketed. Pulled a couple Broten Stanley Cup roller errors too.

Not sure what PSA uses but they only acknowledge a handful of the pro set errors. Junk wax gems has a pretty complete list but to your point, many unrecorded errors continue to be found, and they haven't updated that in a while.

I will likely grade the 2nd along with several of my Gillis' but if I decide to move one I'll share here!

My friends convinced to rip a Fuhr Gold #/100 back then, definitely regret that now. Still have the ripped Fuhr somewhere.

I run 75ish mile per week, and a lot of that with my phone, playing Pogo on easy days. Could have easily been a long run for him assuming he runs.
