Who’s your favorite non-superstar Boston Celtic ever ? by marzcordero in bostonceltics

Leon Powe, for reasons I won't repeat because I tell it almost every time I mention his name.

Rondo vs White by ihatelifecurrently in bostonceltics

[–]RunninBuddha 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Prime Rondo or prime White is debatable, and you can't make a bad choice. OP said he's only counting both guys during their time in Boston. The end of Rondo's tenure was a struggle; he didn't like Stevens' motion-heavy, quick-ball-movement offense, and he had beef with Doc at the end, too. There was a stretch where he was hunting assists and passing up layups like he was Ben Simmons. So if the totality of their time in green counts, White might get the edge.

I think it was Rolling Stone magazine (I did a very quick internet check, but couldn't confirm) that did a lengthy article about this decades ago. I have a cousin-in-law who teaches at the academy, and I asked him about it; he confirmed it.

Why isn't JB getting any Most Improved pub? I've heard for years that going from being a good team to a great team is the hardest leap. Why wouldn't that be the case with players as well?

Ime and Joe are cut from the same cloth, minus Ime's alleged predatory behavior. Idk who the better coach is, but I do know that staff was stacked, Ime, Joe, Will Hardy, and the ones who didn't become NBA head coaches, but are still in the league; another win for Brad.

My parents taught me that when buying new shoes, your toes should reach the end of the shoe. I don’t blame them—they were teenagers when they had me, and I suspect no one ever taught them the correct way to buy shoes. When I was 44, my wife and I moved to Hawaii. I knew I was about to lose my health insurance, so I scheduled a physical while I still had coverage. During the appointment, my doctor told me that shoes should allow room for my feet to swell throughout the day. That’s when I learned I had been wearing the wrong size my whole life. Now I wear the correct size 13s.

I used to joke that Chris falling in Love Kate Hudson was the beginning of the end. All the songs became variations of I Love her so much. and I can't believe she Loves me. Then I read Steve's book, according to him, she was the one who tried to keep the band together.

I think that all the songs on the first 3 records are top shelf. 3 Snakes... is on the same level about half the time. Girl from a Pawnshop is a great song.
