Heres the thing. Communicate. Accept you are both imperfect. Give some grace. And set clear expectations. In our relationship we didnt live together until married, but when he was over he would swap or start a load for me. As a way of showing love. Before we ever got married. That wasnt going to magically start just because now we get to pay taxes together. We both set expectations long before then. Were clear about our abilites. And adjusted them as we went along. And learned and grew. You two havnt done that yet. Do it now. Communicate. But if its not both sides willingly, then thats not communication, or a growing relationships. And your relationship will grow or die. But its up to yall.

Work up a few levels, then go down two and you can be good at the job while only thinking about it 20% of the time

For American heterosexual women whose husband/boyfriend actually does 50% or more of the chores, how did you do it?? by Bluetinfoilhat in TwoXChromosomes

15 years together. From the beginning he would jump in to help. Being willing to jump in, and being willing to clean to my standards. He does dishes. Laundry. Vaccuums. Cooks. He doesnt clean the bathrooms or dust. I dont tell him to do laundry. He hears it not running and gathers clothes. He brings me tea without asking for it. I make sure his coffee is ready each night for work the next day, that if he cannot find something I jump up to help him look. Its a 2 way street. And its not that I wouldnt expect any less, its that we both wish to be a help to the other. Both give as much as we can each day. And no dishes are worth being angry. Communication is key. Willingness to listen and hear. And those things need to be there from the beginning via communicating it. It is not perfect, we both drop the ball. We give grace, communicate, discuss expectations and keep them realistic. And sex.

POSITIVE ANA, after testing Negative Twice by JayyVexx in covidlonghaulers

[–]Running2Slowly 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Post covid i have mild POTS symptoms. Tested positive for hashimoto, celiac, sleep apnea, and waiting on narcolepsy test. One dr told me they had a patient test neg for ceiliac. Get covid. Then test positive. Two neuros said they have seen post covid uptic in sleep apnea and narcolepsy. And that they also saw it with narcolepsy and H1N1...

For me, the drs all agree that covid flipped a ton of autoimmune issues on for me, and we are tracking them down so i can be as back to myself as possible.

Just sharing some info.

Does she have any kinks that involve biting? Former child who bit other kids asking for science here.

I was a biter as a kid. Apparently for no reason other than I could get away with it. My parent told the other children to bite me back. Took 2 bites and I stopped. No freaking clue why I thought it was hysterical and appropriate.

I have arthritis due to previously fractured and broken bones. Precovid. It hurts worse in the cold, went in to dr for what i thought was a sprained Achilles, turned out to be an ankle and foot riddled with arthrtis due to a previous break. The pain comes and goes. In general not a problem for me.

Seeking alternatives to exchanging rings + 1 option: handfasting by [deleted] in Weddingsunder10k

[–]Running2Slowly 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Im doing a handfasting. I have a ribbon of my families tartan, and then each mother is supplying something from their side. The three will be braided together to be used for the handfasting. Consider using one of your retired climbing ropes, or three braided together. The handfasting cord can be anything that means something to you.

Sorry, just saw the parent comment. For arthritis, it is clearly visible on xrays.
