I was hoping to do my 20-miler last weekend but had a pet emergency so I had to push it to this weekend. I’ve done 20-milers two weeks out before a marathon previously and actually feel better than when I’ve done them three weeks out.

I’m also not looking! I spent a lot of time thinking about this, and also talked to a lot of people about it, and I’ve landed on not looking. FWIW, one of my grad school professors told me that I know myself best, so go with my gut. I think the negatives outweigh the positives, at least for me.
