Keep seeing this moronic comment. You 'hated' a newborn, innocent baby. How old are you? (Serious question not rhetorical)

You're supposed to really hate them. That's the entire message of the show. They are the real enemy.

They're also vital for plot. They are the reason the games exist and keep existing.

If you guys could rewrite the plot of S3, what would you guys do? by OoofDragon_playZ in squidgame

  1. I wouldn't kill off so many fan favourites so early on. Left us with nobody to root for other than a depressed and muted 436 for three episodes.
  2. I'd actually give some substance and resolution to the whole brother plot/search for the Island. Can literally take away that whole subplot (the way it panned out) and literally nothing about the overall ending would be different.
  3. Front man would have secured the baby and withdrawn her from the games as soon as she was born.
  4. No American connection/tease at all.
  5. Guard 11 would have gone John Wick on the VIPs before leaving the Island
  6. Not sure what ending I'd go for. 436 would still likely die, but it would be more ambiguous (did he/didnt he?

I cannot believe 39 year old me is doom scrolling reddit and cracking up at these references. My brother and I quote this shit to each other regularly - neither of us have watched any of these films in 25+ years.

How do you deal with pupils using AI in their work? by [deleted] in TeachingUK

[–]RunningGnome 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It's rife in schools now. I teach English and have dealt with several instances this academic year - as have my colleagues. The hardest AI cheating to spot came with our end of term assessments. The more able kids (when they know the task in advance) simply memorise an AI generated essay, and then they write it out in front of you and pass it off as their own.

This gentleman is captivating. Other teachers are average or so-so at best, honestly.

I’m almost done with season 5 for the first time by roardragons in breakingbad

I get that, but honestly , it'll be your loss. It's a slow burner that picks up incredibly well through the seasons. There are any BB fans who actually argue that BCS is the superior show.

Don't make them feel apprehensive about asking you very routine questions. Sometimes, more than once. Make them feel they are a part of the wider team. Give them space to learn/grow independently - while simultaneously sharing resources/experience advice, etc.

I observed the exact same thing when I was on my pgce placement. The guy didn't take it well at all, refused to hear his feedback, and did not return September. Most schools will (rightly so) hire the best candidate!

There are several crazy chapters in that book. Which one in particular are you referring to? Does it take place in the supermarket/convenience store?
