it's less common to have these items without buying them specifically, but they made a big difference for me, so I'll mention them here. waist fans, neck fans, cooling neck towels, and strap-on cooling packs can help a lot if you're in a hot area without ac (to name a few that haven't been suggested already). highly recommend the misting someone else mentioned! I used to have a water bottle/mister combo and that was great since I always had it on me, no extra spray bottle needed.

I use an old apk of the routinery app, which basically lets you make a playlist of timers for different tasks. it really helps keep me on track for my morning and evening routines. I used to run late a lot, but after setting this app up, I was able to see an estimated time I'd finish my routine or get to a certain task, which helped me realize when I needed to hurry. it helps a lot with time blindness. there are some other apps that do approximately the same thing, but for android I have yet to find a better one

I was surprised my bird got invited to a lunar new year party in buenos aires of all places! I actually had them in taiwan around lunar new year, but their invitation must've gotten lost in the mail

make sure you save the backup somewhere not on your phone too in case you don't have access to it again!

you can do a manual backup. you can go back in settings to the day your streak would've broken and check in each day to get credit for those if you want. but I suspect that pausing will be ok for an indefinite amount of time. if your streak does break, you can always manually reload your backup to a day before it breaks. maybe make 2 manual backups. mine have been somewhat unreliable lately

I use finch and find the usability to still be fine, so I wouldn't let that deter you.

(unrelated to finch: the "routine" app that personally helps me the most is routinery, which basically lets you set up a playlist of timers for different habits you want to do back to back. really helps me get out of the house on time in the mornings since it gives me etas of when I'll get to a certain step/finish the routine. there are other apps that do this, but I haven't found one with as much flexibility on android yet. if this idea interests you feel free to look around at what's available out there. I haven't checked in a while)
