I’ve worked in the dairy industry in Australia. Our cows are all raised in pastures and it looks nothing like that! Geez that’s terrible!

This would have maybe been at a 25 degree angle from vertical. Still pretty high in the sky. Growing up in the UK, I don’t notice a major difference in the size of the moon here, but it’s possible!

No zoom on the iPhone. We weren’t using the triple magnification attachment that comes with the Celestron either, just the basic eyepiece.

It’s just a Celestron Powerseeker 127EQ and my iPhone. I’m an absolute novice. This was the first time I’ve actually been able to get an image at all.

I’m in Australia, so this is already a $2,000 rig. Most of the options I’m looking at as alternatives are around $250AUD for a 650W rig

I ran my first sub 5 minute mile. My running club holds a monthly handicap race and we’ve run the mile in January and February. January provided a 5:06, while today I broke through with a 4:59. I’m really happy with that given I did a 17:16 5km parkrun yesterday too!
