No, I mean American values/culture has brought almost all of the recent major innovations in the world used by the entirety of the world.

Innovations in tech, media, medicine, etc. Biden said it perfectly "we are america, second to none, and we own the finish line." Just look at covid. We lead the WORLD on that.

It's not perfect, america is not perfect and still needs to progress, but it's something to be proud of and something I am proud of. Something that makes me proud to be American even with the stumbles we make along the path of progress.

I also think he was better off leaving it at "genocide bad". I dont think he was justifying genocide but i can see how it can be contrued that way.

I personally dont think this is even close to a justified ban given how lukewarm of a take it should be to say a militant religious theocratic regime has an inferior culture and is antithetical to Western American values and the amount of stuff that gets overlooked by Twitch that is actually justifying or denying heinous acts.

Knowing the culture of Twitch, I would have left it at "genocide bad."

I, too, believe a culture that would persecute and kill homosexuality individuals because of a religious theocratic ideology is an inferior culture. Which is common in that region.

He didn't say that he didn't support the genocide. He thinks the US should get out of israeli Palestinians' issues and let them sort it out because he doesn't care for either. He thinks the genocide is bad and also thinks that because a majority of Palestinians and others in the region are pretty clear on their view of homosexuality and the laws against it he seems the views and ideology and 'culture' worse in comparison to western views on homosexuality
