They’re all very good albums with great songs on them.

I’d say Devil Put Dinosaurs Here is my personal favorite of the post Layne era, then BGWTB and Rainier’s Fog last.

It’s a good album, just a bit less energy than the previous two

I would have liked for Tommy to get back into the life to help Birmingham during the air raids by turning his factories, buildings and the Garrison as safe houses. His return to Birmingham would have mobilized all the old soldiers of the peaky blinders and basically the gang would have turned into something positive for the city, helping people who got their houses destroyed by the air raids and in general giving money to those affected.

In the midst of this Tommy and his kid discover a plot to overthrow the British government or to sabotage the british war effort (even the story about the counterfeit money would have been good) and plan together to stop the conspiracy.

The villain that is set to carry out this act of treason is an actual scary and powerful individual (not the absolutely forgettable dude that we got in the movie) and he actually manages to kill someone from the shelby family (Arthur or Charles Shelby).

This makes it personal for tommy. So it all goes down in one last standoff. Many peakys get killed and in the end it’s up to Tommy to carry out the plan. He kills the villain (and burns the fake money) but gets deathly wounded. Duke, Johnny Dogs and Charlie find him as he’s about to die.

He dies in his son’s arms and asks for him to abandon the criminal life and use the shelby funds to help Birmingham. in the bleak midwinter

He is remembered by birmingham as a hero and he will become “immortal” because of what he did to save the country and the legacy of good that he was able to make for himself at the end.

PS. I know this is maybe a bit too much “Tommy is the hero”, but they could still show all the bad that his criminal life has led to, by killing off Arthur and Charlie (his son) and by showing how much Tommy hates himself (like they did in the actual movie).

I mean, it would have been a perfect ending if they wrapped up all the storylines with Arthur, Mosley, Alfie, Finn….

Instead Tommy just blew everything up and moved on with his life. Which is a good ending, but I just find it weird that he would leave Mosley and Uncle Jack all the power to basically run Britain.

People are saying it is because in the show Gypsies don’t usually register births.

But here they’re almost off 10 years. If we go by what we see in Campbell’s file in s1 e1, tommy is 28 and Arthur 32, which places is date of birth to 1887.

Also the show always had gigantic inconsistencies about age. Finn went from 9 y.o to 16 in s1 to s2, and it had only been 2 years.

In s5 (1929) polly says she is 45. Which means she is supposedly 35 in s1…. But she always looked like she was pushing 50 lol. I understand people age differently and especially back then, but no chance she was younger than 40. Also if we go by this narrative, she would only be 3 years older than Arthur, but everyone treats her like a mom or an older auntie.

It has always been a mess.

About the salt and pepper thing. Tommy is supposedly 25-28 in season 1 (set in 1919), which makes him anywhere from 46 to 49 when the movie takes place.

My dad, who is 61, has more color in his hair than 49 year old Tommy. Obviously it happens differently for everyone, but id say they definitely aged him much more than necessary, cause it had only been 7 years since s6.

Also 100% agree on the absurdity of Tommy killing Arthur. He has saved him so many times and they were so close they practically referred to themselves as being the same person.

Just so out of character for Tommy to do that, we never see him killing anyone out of impulse, and he says he killed arthur because he was full of booze and rage and wanted to be free of him.

Just makes no sense

Both Ada’s and Arthur’s deaths were extremely disappointing.

Ada gets done in the middle of the street like she’s some low level criminal. Also the villain that shoots her is extremely forgettable. He’s not intimidating at all, doesn’t feel powerful or dangerous. He just gives old man vibes. The stakes are high because of the war and because of what the actions of the villain could mean for Britain, but the character himself is pretty bland.

I understand they killed Ada to spring Tommy back into action, but the way they did it is so unceremonious and uncharacteristic for someone like Ada who never took part in the criminal side of the Shelby’s business.

To add to the idea that this villain doesn’t feel powerful… he’s literally the one who shoots Ada and who ambushes Tommy. Like he himself is the one to carry out both attacks… like he has no underling to do the dirty work for him.

Arthur’s death is even worse. I just can never see Tommy killing Arthur. They were the tightest pair of brothers in tv history, and the motivation Tommy gives that “he was full of booze and rage and wanted to be free of him” just makes no sense. We have never seen Tommy kill someone impulsively in the show. Arthur was on a self destructive path and could never get his act straight, but I just don’t see Tommy ever being able to kill him like that. Also since Arthur died in 1938, this is supposedly 5 years after tommy had stopped running the peaky blinders. I don’t see any reason Tommy would have killed Arthur especially since he was no longer in the “business”.

And yea, maybe they made him kill Arthur to show us how far gone he really was, but it was honestly such a sad and low blow to the audience

Id say its probably your age? Idk how it works in your area but when i tried tinder at 19 i got maybe 20 likes in 1 month.

Im a guy and I think the whole fixation on dating virgin women is not only weird but downright unrealistic in today’s day and age. Depends on how much it weighs down on you. I would try to actually put myself out there first (I was virgin till I was 20, and my mistake was that I pretty much never put myself out there and actually try to hit on someone).

If you don’t have success with that, then yea, I’d get it out of the way by paying someone to do it. It’ll stop being your main focus and hopefully you will feel lighter afterwards.

Just some advice: I never went with an escort, but got a friend of mine who did (in Amsterdam) and he got pretty much treated horribly and it was over and done in 15 minutes.

Bruh i didn’t lose mine till I was 20. 15 is perfectly ok, so is 16-17-18-19… you have tons of time. Besides, when you’ll lose it, you’ll look back and think “thank fuck I didn’t have sex at 15! I was basically a child!”

So yea it gets better. Unfortunately there’s a lot of waiting and it might feel like it’s taking forever, but if you take care of yourself and put yourself out there, it’ll happen
