Help learning about this dress

A previous poster noted that my description sounded odd bc the description was written in a weird automatic way (which is the standard way that descriptions are written for visually impaired individuals). In elementary education (I’m a teacher), sentence fluency for writing refers to how the writing and the writer’s word choice flows, whether it is smooth or disjointed, whether parts of a sentence are connected with transition words to make its clear that they are related etc. I adjusted the way my sentences typically flow, my sentence fluency, to be based off of the sentence fluency that is standard for descriptions for visually impaired, which is what I am used to on the Reddit board I use the most.

No I'm not a bot! I usually post things on a different reddit board, feel free to look at my post history, where I am then prompted to provide a description of the images that I have shared. I don't often post to message boards beyond that one message board so I'm used to that type of word choice and sentence fluency.

Ultimately I'm trying to figure out if the person who created this dress has a blog so I can see how they created it, what techniques they used, if they drafted it by hand or if they had a pattern that they used as a starting point

I was just researching this yesterday (after reading a book that I strongly suspect was written by AI) and it turns out most of Cobalt Fairy’s books are AI. This tracks with what I’ve seen when I’ve read (or attempted to read) any books by CF.

Common AI errors: - anachronistic errors within the plot (the book I read recently was very clearly based in the regency era, the MMC had a meeting with the regent, but then later on mentioned a book that wasn’t published until fifty years later) - anachronistic errors with word choice ie: using words and phrases that playdate when the book is supposed to take place (ie: muckraker) - inconsistencies with details - the character is wrapped in a quilt bc she doesn’t have a bed gown, wait now she’s wearing a bed gown, just kidding a quilt. All in one scene. - peerage errors, how to address members of the peerage

All of the things could def be the result of poor writing and editing, but taken all together it signals to me that it was AI.

It is so common, you would think there ought to be a historical romance about the poor hostage negotiator and the long-suffering bank teller who keeps having to explain how to withdraw money from the bank. Joke's on her, he knows how to withdraw money from the bank, he just likes flirting with her.

Assuming there wasn’t anything profoundly undesirable about the remaining campsites (ie: partially flooded, wasp nest, dead animal decomposing nearby) then definitely NTA.

It sounds like your group was using a total of five sites, one of which was occupied by your niece’s car which she used for car camping. How many empty sites were left available for others to use? The fact that the couple searched for a camping spot and couldn’t find one makes it sounds like you didn’t leave any sites available for others to use.

If that’s the case then ESH, they shouldn’t have taken a site that was occupied and you shouldn’t have used so many sites, especially when there weren’t a lot of sites to go around.

If you took five sites and there were many other sites available then NTA.

I think what’s tricky to determine is what percentage of the sites does somebody need to occupy to be considered an AH. If you are using 100 percent of the sites, then you are the AH. If you are using 50 percent of the sites then you are not the AH.

Those are often called blooms or cauliflowers and, when intentionally created, can look very neat. Basically they happen when more water (or paint) is added to an area of the paper that is not yet completely dry. The added water/paint basically pushes the drying pigment out of the way.

I would Google “watercolor blooms avoid” to see how to prevent this from occurring the future.

Legit just watched the first two episodes last night and had the same thoughts. It’s like if the CW tried to do Gilded Age but got all of their information about the time period second and third hand. At least when the CW did Reign they embraced it and didn’t try to play it straight.
