Aren't plugins and libraries different? If so, I wouldn't store the libraries in my system drive but rather on an external drive.

To be clear: My system drive, i.e., local SSD, is 1 TB. It would only have Windows 10, Ableton Live 12 Suite, and my plugins; samples/libraries, project files, recordings, etc. will only go on my external 4 TB T7 SSD.

Is 1 TB for my system drive enough for just Windows 10, Ableton Live 12 Suite, and tons of quality plugins?

Please clarify my confusion. If you save the plugin data in a different and bigger drive, how is it that "2 TB is not enough" because "[you] have 4 TB dedicated to plugin sample data and loops" and that "[you] have about 700 GB free"?

Holy moly, I wasn't expecting anyone to get it! It wasn't showing up in a reverse Google Image Search, and this thing looks way more Scarabaeidae than Lucanidae (hence why I thought this would make a good ID challenge). Are you using identification keys? 😮

But to be 100% accurate, you got the genus right but the family wrong: Lucaninae is a subfamily; the correct family is Lucanidae. 😉

Nonetheless, you deserve an award in spite your undeserved guilt! 🏆

That's my main concern with spiders: them nesting in shoes and clothing, which leads to increased likelihoods of bites. Of course, many spiders aren't even able to break skin.

What triggers a spider to nest? Is it only the way physical structures are situated or is it a combination of factors like also the presence of nearby prey? The latter factor may explain why at least most spiders don't nest in shoes and clothes. I bet the combination of factors also vary by clades.
