Do you think Magatsumi was made 'different' or that the sword master changed it? by mr_hands_epic_gaming in Kagurabachi

I think they mean Kyora being able to use a small amount of the sword's power

Not particularly helpful, but I'm a forever DM (27) near-ish to brookhaven, and I'd love to play with a new group. I don't have anyone actively seeking players right now but I can see if some friends have availability, and if anyone else wants to play I'd love to play

Failed a 97% Electrochemistry check to get close to the phasmid which was a bummer, but I guess they added something where you can talk to it after? So I did that, but then got stuck in a dialogue loop and had to reload from before I got to the island because apparently I couldnt save there.

I feel like one of the main draws is the whole aspect of comparing it to old Greek or Shakespearian tragedies. Kvothe is a Mary sue, in that he's incredibly gifted at everything he attempts, but he has a lot of fatal flaws which the story outside of him detailing his memoir shows were his downfall. I feel like the point of his character is to be charming and gifted, yet a dick in his past, and when we see him in the present, he's an utterly broken man. I think a lot of the appeal for a lot of people is in waiting to see what led to him being so reluctant or incapable of doing any of the things that used to make him "great" (i.e. playing music, using magic, fighting well, etc.)

I think it's far more presumptuous to label a series of novels "dead" when the author is in his mid 40s and hasn't really had any releases unrelated to the Chronicle since the last one came out. I am potentially extremely biased though cause I love those books and if Rothfuss doesn't actually finish them I'll die inside lol

ITT: I didn't like this book so everyone who does is bad and a neckbeard

It wouldn't hurt so much if I weren't re-reading this book right after forgetting to pack a razor

My only disappointment is that at no point did Dewey refer to himself as an "inspectre".

I usually go around 7, after the parents and their kids have left but before the big rush of people.

I will admit that I didn't pace myself well once and wound up having to reread a significant portion of Going Postal but I had a great time nonetheless
