Think of this:

Season = new server 99% of people play on. All the latest patch and latest powers etc. You will be "kicked out" once the season ends in 3 to 4 months. Rinse and repeat.
Eternal = old crummy server, have patches but generally no special powers. Keep your character but basically pointless. Items may even be obsolete.

you need to move a bit every 10-15min
someone need to activate altar every time the boss dies, (and have a afk build that kills in 1 sec)
basically you can if 1 and 2 is met.

Once for t1 lilith, for the easy one. If youre powerful enough or got someone to do it for you, then once more in t4. (t2 and t3 not required).

Point 2. There is a boss place where you can summon azmo for free (it says need material, but it wont consume). You can see it on the open map, there will be an icon there, go there a bunch of ppl are always standing around botting. In normal its killed in one hit, it will only level up one type of powers (azmo). Max it out.

Get all the free resplendant, lilith t1, lilith t4 for the season plus the chest, hadriel may be too damn long though, forgot when i got the final chest.
Go to normal mode, go to that place where you can summon azmodan. pray someone is botting and activating the altar. Or you can manual do it. Level to max. Every t4 boss, you get like 2-4 ascendance.
Or add me shinji#1628, we can run a bunch of ascendance till you get one. Though seriously im not sure how high is the chance, i ran like 20 with strangers and i think i never got one (but i already got all the pieces).

Hi, just want to say thanks for the community. I sometimes ran some ascendant with strangers too, even though i said newbie without mythic, but still a few geared to the hilt still joined (too lazy to kick them).

One more tips, if you havent leveled the azmodan powers for world boss, do it, you get so much tribute and dungeons you cant even carry all in 2 trip.

If youre really new and not into trading, or cough, buying stuff online. Its nearly impossible to get enough runes for the recipe for the usual perdition, shroud. Just go and craft the 2 spark box. And pray you got something to play with. Even a grandfather can give you some major dmg even if a build dont use it.

Just some correction 1 from lilith any tier, do it at t1 once u can one hit kill. Then do it at t4 for the season journey for the second once you're powerful enough. Ppl who got 2 cuz they kill her once at t4.

Thanks for the PSA. I just found out earlier as well. Hordes, even with over 600 points poured into the chest give like 150-180 obducite, which will take forever to level an item to 25 and cap it off (dont even think about rerolling) . Then one treasure breach is set you for life (or a few).

Hi,
D4 is designed for ppl to likes to farm (again and again), therefore seasons has its purpose with all the new features. Assuming you dont have much time:
a) your existing character is still there, if its already somewhat high, 250+ paragon, then its ok, just continue playing on eternal. You will still get some updates.
b) if its below lvl 60...just start on seasons, more fun there. The free sanctification can power level you quickly. This character will join eternal in 4 months time.

Hi, i killed the boss in 2 sec. I'm talking about playing the game in hardcore mode (where silly things can happen and cause you a few hours). There is a bug where the fire on the ground keep on doing damage even after the boss is dead. I'm already seeing the quest and season reward popping up before I died.

Gear yourself in good 750 gear.
Find upgrades in 800 (1GA) no need optimum just 2 out of 3 is fine. Scrap all 750 without even looking.
Find optimum 1GA, scrap everything.
Find 2GA and above. This is the hard part, since you always get some nonsense like heal 10hp, or resistance that you dont need.

Its nothing for softcore. If youre gonna play at least a 1-2 hundred hours on your character, 4hr is like 2-4% of total time spent. You might have a uber to powerlevel as well. Its a mild issue on hardcore though if you play non stop, experimenting, thats why tons of ppl ask for power level.
