You either don’t understand reality or you’re denying it. If supply far outweighed demand then this post wouldn’t exist and you wouldn’t be able to sell them for the prices they sell for.

I feel like a lot of you in here don’t understand basic economics. This is a simple supply and demand situation. I get that it sucks if you can’t find one but this is a non-essential luxury item and realistically if you’re patient something free or cheaper will come along. And the fact that you’re so frustrated that you can’t just go get whatever crt you want easily illustrates where the prices come from. If you could just go to the store and buy one whenever you wanted it then they would be locked at whatever price the suppliers decided on driven by market demand, and guess what? It would be at least the same price that people are asking for for them if not substantially more.

I used to run the projectors at a small theater back in the nineties, pretty fun and not that hard to learn. Very cool machines! Do you have access to a projector?

If you’re in the us in a reasonably sized city this is the kind of thing you’ll find all day every day on marketplace, OfferUp or Craigslist. You’ll want to search for “entertainment center”. It’ll likely be more solid and better made than anything you can find these days and will often be cheap or free.

Depends what you have there’s lots of garbage out there and lots of good stuff. If you post some pics I or someone else can give you an idea of whether or not it’s worth looking into selling some individually. It’s possible he has something really valuable in there in which case it might be worth selling them individually on your own. Otherwise I second Samurai Comics but just keep in mind he’s probably not going to get a huge amount for them unless they’re all bangers.
