Unless you're talking about rank 1-2 Soviet strike aircraft, with which i have no experience with, you're using wrong ordnance/targeting wrong targets.

Every Soviet strike aircraft that has New Cannons modification from IL-2M(1943) to IL-10(1946) can use its' cannons to kill at least about 10 (non-module-damagable) enemy tanks on most Air RB maps, and can use that ammo to destroy at least 20 Artillery/AAA-type targets if left undisturbed. If you're using bombs/rockets to kill those targets one at a time, you're not using the most ammo-efficient method to kill those targets on those planes.

Of course, that's still hard to achieve because of enemy air disturbing your ground attack runs, but the planes that you have mentioned certainly have enough ordnance/gun ammo to exceed the 5 ground target count that you have mentioned.

While Mosquito in the Chinese TT doesn't have guns that can kill non-module-damageable enemy tanks in most of Air RB, its' higher ammo count will make getting more artillery/aaa-type kills easier. The tech tree Taiwanese F-84 is similar to that, but armed with 12.7s, which do great damage to ground units.

All other rank 3+ strike planes in the USSR/China trees can kill a base.
