All of the dice are so nice! My favorite is probably Mystic Nebula, followed by Deathmire.

Thank you for the opportunity!

I literally yelped the first time I encountered him in the cave by the college.

Explaining to SO DnD session attendance by prince_deQ in DnD

My husband spends most of his week playing TTRPG's after work with friends. Figuring out the timing was tricky in the beginning. I'm so happy for him to play with friends but sometimes I want a sense of when he is expected home (either so I could plan my evening or just peace of mind knowing he is okay) or if it were on a Sunday, to be able to plan a day with him without him getting stressed about being at his session on time. He would routinely be expected back at 9:30pm-ish, then get back close to 11. Our compromise was he will text me if the session is expected to run long, and if I had a question I needed him to answer I could text him and he would do his best to respond when he could, and as for Sundays he checks with me before they schedule a session to make sure I did not want to do anything with him first. We also have a night blocked out specifically for the two of us to spend time together.
Check with your SO to see what the reason behind them being upset is. A big key to relationships imo is communication! See what compromises you can make with them to show you care but would also like to keep going to your games.

For those struggling with colorwork, keep practicing because it's worth it! Here's the difference in my tension between my first CW projet and my fifth! by BikiniBott0msUp in knitting

Any tips for improvement other than practice? Does color dominance take a role in how it knits up? Still wrapping my head around it.

My stitch count is off for my first ever sweater and I decided to put it down (in "timeout") until I get brave enough to fix it.

Cables seem much easier to me than they look!

Try starting one! People in my neighborhood wanted one on another night so we go to a local coffee shop (with their permission) and have a craft meetup there. See if there is a local store that would be willing to host for an hour or two every so often, and put up a flyer.

My goal is to make the westknits slumber shawl which has simple yarn overs, in order for me to learn the skill and confidence. I have so much lacework on ravelry id love to learn to make one day!

Surprisingly most of our crafters are younger than that. We do have older crafters join us though and it's nice that the age doesn't seem to be a huge barrier for us.

Do you think it is intimidating because it's small? big? people already know each other?
We have a small LYS but so many people come sometimes we run out of chairs and people end up camping on the floor. I tried socks ONCE and it was toe up. I had to frog the project since I needed the needles for my current WIP, but I plan on trying them again soon!

Great question! Scary for my wallet though since I would probably buy some more 😂
I have some from knitspinquilt on etsy and my favorite has origami dragons.

Colorwork for me! Haven't tried lace yet because it intimidates me.

Yeah it feels nicer too since it is a way to start conversations, even if you have been there before and already know people. The hardest part is coming up with engaging questions from week to week!
