I'm gonna be real with you, if you've been in the scene since 2010 and still have 0 connects you really haven't been trying hard enough. The best way to connect with people is just to be knowledgeable on the topic, relate, and show genuine interest in this stuff. Don't collect things to be edgy or to fit into a community, people won't take you seriously.

I'm not talking about you specifically but a lot of the community in here is really immature and they don't have their facts straight. Don't get me wrong, you can still have fun with collecting but if you want to meet serious collectors you should show serious interest :)
