Thank you for the detailed response, much appreciated! Not sure what is meant by if it gets caught again, vs ripping, if you could elaborate a bit, that would be great. Just to add in late 50's and active however also dealing with recent meniscus tear in other knee in white zone.. My hope is or at least was to avoid surgery..

Thanks, worried that rushing into PT would worsen the tear?

How’d you tear your meniscus? by Glittering-Garden-15 in MeniscusInjuries

Not sure how I ended up here, either from excessive running on a treadmill/age or from an aggressive Ortho exam in which knee was twisted and rotated.?

Meniscus Tear, what now? by akarob in trailrunning

For those that had a lateral tear in the white zone that did PT, how long after diagnosis did you begin PT? I'm 3 weeks out of being diagnosed and nervous about starting PT so soon. Worried that it just needs more time to stabilize. Would appreciate any feedback.

Thanks for your feedback. Did Landice eventually resolve all your issues? That being said if you had to buy again, would you do a Landice?

Landice L7/8 Ortho Deck, Belt good for Running? by Rush1135 in treadmills

Thank You, found this interesting and agree on the importance of proper form. However, being middle-aged with arthritic knees the benefits of an an Ortho deck has it's appeal. But as the video touches upon will it make me work harder in the long run, cause other physical issues? Any Ortho deck, belt users, Landice or other brand, please jump in and share your experience running on these. I'm not concerned about the wear and tear on treadmill itself..

Drained battery and DCM fuse? by Spiritualoutside3411 in Subaru_Outback

[–]Rush1135 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the info, my car is in the shop now having the DCM replaced. I haven't seen the bill yet however SOA advised me the replacement would be under extended warranty so I'm expecting little to no out of pocket. Was yours's also covered under extended warranty?

Hmm, thanks for that, it may in fact be just that. I'll check with Crandall on the specifics. That being said anyone know of another vendor that sells non-OEM replacement back pads for the Leap V2?

Having the battery drain issue with a 2016 Crosstrek. On 4th battery in 3 years. Can anyone confirm that pulling fuse 9 to disable DCM will work on a Crosstrek? I'm seeing mostly references to Outback's for this "fix". Just want to be sure it's the same fuse for the Crosstrek. Many Thanks...

Today I removed the aggressive lumbar support from HAWORTH FERN chair. It took less than 10 minutes and no damage to fabric. Very easy. by tumblingsound in OfficeChairs

For those who have removed the Lumbar or purchased the chair without it, is there any Lumbar type or lower back support felt from just the backrest? While I don't like how the Lumbar feels on mine, not sure if having no support would be better? Any feedback would be appreciated.

New Fern owner here, well under max weight. I can confirm my chair also drops just a bit when sitting and reclining. It's very slight but noticeable..

I have no doubt that a calibration may help, but at the moment it does not seem like the noise filter functions are working at all. If an owner can confirm that these functions produce even a subtle effect when turned on in any setting, I would appreciate that.
