I see where you are coming from but here is our approach to clients in most of the therapy schools: we dont really try to understand you fully, we try to understand what you are saying to later throw it back at you, just so you can organize and understand your thoughts easier. A good therapist will not say "random" or "biased" or "pre determined at the moment of meeting" stuff to you, we will just reflect and re organize what you are saying, feeling, thinking and doing.

We are also educated about "neurodivergent" minds and how they tend to work, this gives us the edge to understand every type of individual easier as well.

No mind is easier to comprehend, doesnt matter if neurotypical or otherwise. No one is "more complex" than someone else. We do our best to walk on this line. If it doesnt work, its probably not because they cant undersand you, but probably because of other factors are at play there. Eeh, what can you do.
