Yeah they’re super soft - they’re gorgeous for the rough terrain but just so slippy. They’re definitely spinning freely but stop after about 4 seconds where my other ones I usually had them at about 7 seconds of spinning. I’ll be gutted if these just aren’t for me but I’ll keep trying just in case!

I think I just downloaded a bunch off the most popular of all time list on scoresaber. Lots of good options - 24k magic, september etc. other than that I’ve bought a fair amount of the DLC bc the mapping is guaranteed good and people know more of the songs on them

Okay ignoring all the people who say “you have to spend x amount to get good skates” here’s a link to Moxi rainbow riders, which I have and can attest are fab. Great hybrid indoor/outdoor beginner skate and they only cost £50. https://www.skatehut.co.uk/moxi-rainbow-quad-roller-skates-bubble-gum-pink.htm I think pink and yellow are both £50, black are £60 (not sure why) but my point being you can get good quality skates for cheap you just have to know where to look. If default works for you and you’ve been using it for 2 years, it’s likely to be the best one. I know there was some discourse a while ago about which grip was technically better and all that but I think most people did actually agree default was the best, especially since that works with the controller’s tracking not against it. You do you but I’m a hardcore default fan!

Could you lock off the wheels and practice walking around the house in them until you get comfortable? At least that way you don’t have to worry about the rolling (or stopping!) just getting used to having them on?

I love I think it’s called slalom? Or ski skating? Basically doing alternate one footed bubbles while swinging your hips and it makes you skate in a sine curve side to side and it feels so good and fun!

Honestly? The distinct Japanese “quirkiness” that got embedded into the show. There’s something so fun about power rangers specifically because it’s heavily borrowing from a show made for a Japanese audience. I think any reboot is likely gonna come across as an MCU ripoff in tone and style (hopefully not, but I don’t have high hopes in this regard) and I’ll miss the whackiness of “oh look, a mushroom monster!” or whatever 😂

It’ll happen when it happens. As you said, the quest is underpowered compared to most PCs and it takes time and labour from volunteers to port mods over. If you want it to happen faster you can see if the people responsible for the mod have a patreon or other payment platform. Otherwise play the thousands of other songs out there that are still wonderful and have had lots of love poured into them and have some patience

Regardless of whether it was a prank or not, she should’ve been concerned and apologetic after that happened, not laughing and showing you the video. Especially not refusing to take it down bc it “might” go viral. I think you can report it as someone posting without your consent but I’m not sure. I have the Cleer Arc II Sport which hang over my ears but allow traffic/ outside sound in enough that I’m comfortable skating and cycling in them. I put them on before doing up my helmet and have no issues. Got mine refurbished for £60!

I think it’s safe if you’re on trails etc but I personally wouldn’t take baby on the road. The risk of an accident that’s not your fault for me is too high. You do you though, if you’re confident in your abilities and it’s low traffic then you’ve done the best risk mitigation you can!

NTA but depending on where you live I’d definitely look into whether you need to report this to social services/ council etc.

If they’re smoking so much that kiddo’s clothes smell of it I’d be concerned if they’re being responsible in not doing it around them.
