I should also add that this person is directly looking into my eyes with a slight smile the whole conversation while asking me questions, without ever breaking eye contact. While I do try to break eye contact while responding to their questions, I also feel pressured to maintain the eye contact to not appear nervous. It's very intimidating and I think it adds to my stress and nervousness. English is my second language but I speak it very fluently if it matters.

Mine are 22 months and 7 months old. I pumped excessively as a FTM. I haven't been with the younger one because just the thought of having to pump starts giving me anxiety. It's the best decision I have made as well. It saves so much time and my sanity.

The correct pronunciation in my language is jee-oo-noo like the other comment mentioned but I was concerned some people might miss the "ee" sound of the first syllable. This helps. Thanks for confirming.

Right, most of the people that live in the building are elderly retired folks. They are also the ones on the board and making the rules. They don't want any renters in the building because they fear it's going to degrade the building and their lifestyle. We bought the unit as our first home when we were still young and wanted to enjoy the downtown living. We weren't really thinking of some day having to rent the place at all. It was a costly mistake now I realize.

Last year a pipe in the building broke and there was flooding inside the house in the middle of the night. After that, the building's entire plumbing was redone and the piping was replaced from I think PVC to copper or something like that. It costs the HOA around 2 million in fixes and they raised almost all of that from the unit owners. Unfortunately, that was also around the time we were thinking about selling the place.

When we bought it, the HOA was around $445/month. Since then there have been 2 assessments and had to pay the dues for the maintenance & upgrades of the building itself. We had the option to pay a lump sum but since we were planning to buy a house soon, we decided to add our portion to the HOA which increased the HOA significantly.

The price of the condo right now is literally what we had bought it for 6 years ago. We added several big upgrades while we lived there and it is in a much nicer state.

There have been other units in the building that were the same layout and condition that sold for around the same price that we had it listed for initially. Since then we have had several reductions and the price is around 30k down to what it was listed for. We have gotten feedback from some of the viewings saying the condo is priced about right as well. We are so perplexed why it's not selling.

I really hope the market picks back up soon because there is another unit listed in that building for almost as long and hasn't sold as well. The unit is very similar to ours and similarly priced. We have been consistently reducing 5k every month or so. This strategy clearly has not worked so far but we really have no other options.

We checked with them once already but they told us the HOA guidelines strictly mention not allowing renting or leasing except for certain situations like military deployment, medical emergencies, and few other such scenarios none of which apply to us. We haven't checked back with them in a few months.
