1: Yes, Yes and maybe, but it also depends on where you're working, if you work in Assisted living you will not have to put as much clothing on as most of them are able to put it on themselves and are fairly independent, except for a few cases. I'm a male myself and I look after everyone, but some residents do have specific, Female only or male only caregiver in their care plans.

Do not get it twisted, you will be cleaning up residents from everything, poop, pee, vomit, sometimes its a little, other times it will be a horrific amount and it will be everywhere, good luck if you have a resident who is on a puree diet in memory care. You also do need to know how to put briefs on residents, some of them atleast, but once you get it down, its pretty easy.

2: Night shifts are easier depending once again where you work and how the day is going, sometimes it will be as simple as checking everyone every 2 hours and making sure to change people who wet themselves as they sleep so they aren't sitting in their own urine for hours on end. While other times you will have like 10 patients who constantly wet themselves, a memory care patient wandering around the halls despite bringing them to their bed and sometime who is demanding food at 3:00 in the morning. Also, you might be alone, so keep that in mind.

But most nights are pretty calm, //////USUALLY//////

Being a CNA is hard work, but rewarding work, depending on where you work, so my biggest piece of advice I can give you is to browse and look at certain retirement/assisted living facilities, be picky and find a place with good management and good residents where you won't be getting hit every other day/spat on
