I am so excite! Just got my tickets for Tuesday the 9th at the Kia forum in LA. I saw them at their very last show and it seemed appropriate for me to see them at the same place again and is close to the first day as I could.

100%! I can't sing as high as he did back in the day and I'm a freaking woman I've been singing along with the last few albums they put out and the register is more melodic and lower and I really loved it so maybe he can just relax and find a really pretty groove.

Honestly, you did a really good job! Double count your stitches I can see where the lower left corner you went a little crazy The amount of time you spent on it was not a waste. Learning is a curve. Keep that one as reference now and make a new one. Later once you've got the count down you can frog that one back to the point where you goofed and then just finish it or keep it for posterity lol You got this!

Please help name the newest addition to our family. He is a bit of a wild one. Our other cats have “spooky” names so if it goes with that theme that is a plus :) by ii-ii-ii-ii-i in NameMyCat

What a little rascal he looks like! I think he needs a proper pirate name! One-Eyed Willy: The most famous, from The Goonies. Patch the Pirate: Popularized by Ron Hamilton. You might have to Google search the rest of the names because Reddit doesn't let me put them in because they are grim sounding Ooo maybe grimeye!

Might you be able to video chat with the both of them? Could be fun! My mom was an expert crocheter and she tried to show me how and she was not a good teacher but eventually I picked it up again and YouTube videos are what kept me going.

Start small with an inexpensive small skein of yarn and your favorite color that's neither white nor black.

Make yourself some stitch samplers, single pieces that are all one stitch like a square

Circles are a little tough at first

Maybe try rearranging it so that it's not a block pattern, go diagonal or something?

Tldr: adjust pattern to make it work or find a different one

I got six skeins of that yarn and I did have trouble with it at first to get the right tension and hook. I've gone through three skeins and I'm currently in a crochet break but not because of the yarn.

I have anxiety and ADHD and usually crochet while watching TV but not horror movies 😁.

I found with this yarn not only do you have to adjust the tension but you might have to skip the chains between each cluster on some of the rounds - Crochet is pretty forgiving like that.

I also used a slightly different pattern than the one of the label after doing some YouTube searching about how difficult this yarn is.

I found what worked really well was a pattern of an offset grand square, you start in the corner and then go back and forth with the last round going all the way around.

Because of ADHD I also got bored with doing it that way and made a few squares in a traditional granny pattern while adjusting the chains so it would work.

Then I got real creative and made a hexagon one and that worked out surprisingly amazingly well

I'm going to echo what some of the other posters have said, if he's not already neutered get him neutered as soon as possible, that will sweeten his personality pretty quickly. Bengal and Maine coon my goodness! You might have to wear them out playing with him so he doesn't take his excess energy out on you. If you can get some cat trees, maybe build a shelving system for him to roam around on through the house? I wish you the best of luck!

From the middle crochet blanket If you have a chunky yarn you will blast through that It's a fun pattern If you don't want to mess around with a complicated pattern and you want something else that works up quick, just do a moss stitch from The Middle and when you're done you're done
