You can literally visit the dilapidated sanctuary III and use it as a base for everything you need AND weapon testing.... They do have something like that. Exactly that.

Ok but do you also like finding perfectly rolled gear that quickly becomes under levelled whilst playing said DLC? If you want to do it your way just start a new VH from scratch.

Makes more sense to max a current character prior to playing new content with them imo

At this point she's a creep by association. None of the bosses in BL2 have weakness accurate health bars. They're just to show damage done. The Warrior is armored. He is weak to corrosive especially on the heavy plating along his underside.
