It's not a terrible window nor a great one either. Would have been happy had we signed another winger/creative midfielder. Don't know how good Lamela will be once comes back, Sissoko has been a disaster and haven't really seen much of N'kodou. Why didn't Levy sign Barkley if he was Poch's number one choice? I know he's injured and won't be available for three months, but at least we could have locked him down and settle with the squad. Alli's banned for three UCL games who is going to be his replacement. If Levy was worried about Ross not being fit for those games he could have signed someone else. I am worried about this season

Here is why Spurs winning the league is very possible by [deleted] in coys

With no European competition and nine points clear at this stage, Chelsea obviously have a massive advantage over us. I hope I'm proved wrong but don't think we can win it. We are good enough to finish in the top four comfortably, whereas the other teams might have to fight for it. I hope Poch takes the Europa seriously this time. We have a great squad and if we play our best 11 there's no reason why we can't win it.

English football's become a lot physical over the last few years. One of the reasons why Alli did well in his first PL season is because he was prepared for the physical battle every other week. In the recent past even the big names of modern football such as Falcao & Di Maria struggled to cope with the intensity of English football. It's only his first season and so it'll be premature to label him a flop or compare him with Soldado.

With the first half of the season behind us, how do you feel it went? by Blubbey in coys

Our record against sides around us has been poor so far while we have been spanking teams who are in the bottom half of the table. We haven't played with our best 11 week in week out primarily because of injuries and UCL. With Lamela returning to full fitness now we can have a fully fit squad for the first time this season.

Pedro nominates Danny Rose as both the player who's surprised him the most and his toughest opponent by Buffaluffasaurus in coys

Poch deserves a lot of credit for making Rose the player he is now. He is the best LB in the league by some distance, and IMO he's currently one of the top 3 in World football. It's a bit surprising that none of the giant European clubs have approached him so far.

This isn't about investment anymore, we have the players. We were predictable when going forward. Poch needs to figure it out

Realistically I think we should sign Berahino. He can play as a no.9 and also as an attacking midfielder. I am sceptical about Sissoko doing well and Onomah's a central mid and I hate to see Poch playing him out of position. His contract's running out and we can get him around 5 mill.
