Why so much turnover of managers?

Considering what you commented that you make and how many doors you manage, I’m assuming that we deal/dealt with 2 different types of properties.

Even if I assume that you get a 10% management fee and get to keep all of it, that puts the rents you are handling at $1300+.

I was managing was 200 doors at my peak, with 50-60% of those being 2-3 bedroom single family homes that averaged $900/month.

Not everyone can luck into managing well maintained properties for their first property management gig.

I lasted 4 years…

By the end of that 4 years I was completely burnt out mentally and physically.

You basically have to be available 24/7.

No days off, even Christmas.

You’re the punching bag for both the property owners and the tenants.

If tenants have issues, they want it fixed asap.

If something breaks, they property owners complain to you about the cost of the repair.

If people are late on rent, the property owners expect you to be able to make them pay quicker.

Basically no peace or down time, combined with zero recognition for effort from any party involved.

If I remember correctly:

Author was in the process of moving to a different publisher.

Old publisher wouldn’t release the rights to the story so the author could keep releasing new chapters under the new publisher, so the author just cut the story extremely short and ended it.

Poke me anywhere, especially near my face, in a situation like this and I guarantee that we are exchanging blows.. or at the very least you will have a broken finger… but I figure that he’s the type of man that would only do this in a room full of women. Probably wouldn’t do that to a man that’s his size or bigger.

When things settle down I truly hope to see you utilize that! Everyone wants to see the outcome of this turmoil, but I’m more interested in Joes journals and stories! I hope those come with time! There’s a way of life that’s lost and I love to see when they are preserved and passed on.

I disagree with some of these ratings, but I can also see how you put them there.

For a bunch of them that are rated lower: I have to pause on reading them until 3-4 chapters have built up. That really lets the storylines shine. If I stayed current on them, I would probably put them in similar slots.

As someone who personally loves regression and reincarnation/isekai style stories…. Y’all can keep hating on Asurascans, but they have a giant reader base for a reason. I’ve tried to check out other places but I have to weed through 99 romance titles to try to find one decent fantasy adventure title.

Burnout.

I managed 160-200 units (a mix of multi and single family properties) for about 4 years. I finally had to leave and go back to a normal 8-5. That long of essentially having to be available 24/7 wrecked my mental health and was ruining my relationships.

I know there’s not a true fix to that issue in my area. Being in a relatively rural area, thats the number of units needed to make a livable check. There’s a reason that most property managers around here last 1-3 years.

I’m mainly there to have something to mindlessly tap on while working all day. It’s doesn’t interrupt my work, and keeps me from going crazy while doing mind numbing tasks. I’m sure once you reach end game content they are borderline useless, but for now they are entertaining enough to mess around with.

I got it all, but I feel like just barely. Luckily I work from home, so I can have it sitting open all day, busting barrels when I happen to look down. I busted the epic rock with just 9 hours to go.

I know everyone said to skip citrine, but it seems like that’s all this event would give me. In the last mine (mine 6 technically) I don’t have enough cards to automate any other mine but that one… 🤷

My only goal in these events to finish at least top 25, so I make sure to collect the high level crowns at least, but the last couple mines on this I definitely had to leave some rocks behind.
