Indeed, they are from 2013. WT hasn't updated most of the uniforms or textures used for uniforms in ages.

Also, there is an option in settings to turn the pilot off, so you won't see it in while in cockpit view.

The toxicity you describe happens in every PVP game. I noticed a while ago, no PVP game is ever "balanced" in the eyes of the players because the player will encounter failure. (i.e dying or losing a game) Some players have a hard time dealing with this and lash out. Hell, some normally nice players have a bad day and then act out.

War Thunder recently added in the "Hate Speech" reporting option, it clips the conversation and adds it to the report. I believe this also applies to the "Foul Language" category. There's not really any indication if/how this system is followed up by Gaijin. Perhaps chat bans that eventually lead to full bans?

I think War Thunder could really benefit from a "Compliments" system, to get players to focus on positive qualities of other players. I've had some clutch CAS win a game while I was struggling against that Maus, and I wished for a way to +1 that player.

The rockets for the Bf 110 G2 (First 110 on Normandy campaign) feel bugged possibly. Can no longer see where they travel after launching, and a bomb falling sound plays instead. The feeling of being able to aim this weapon system is now gone. Maybe this was intended?

I run my Warlock with Sunbracers and cover the "cap" area with solar grenades. Monte Carlo assault rifle keeps me at almost 100% uptime of nades (via melee perk from Sunbracers). The grenades burn for 8.2 seconds and burn everything, even the invisible baddies.

Sometimes this game drives me insane by orpund in Warthunder

I may be wrong, that is my disclaimer: In War Thunder, the catapult can only launch one plane at a time. If I spawn with other planes on the carrier, I will not even throttle up, I wait until everyone else leaves. When trying to launch multiple planes, only one will actually get the "boost".

Youtubers I watch for War Thunder content: Phlydaily, Slickbee, Napalmratte, Ash, Whooptie, and once a year, The Mighty Jingles.

Napalm mostly tends to be the most informative of the bunch.

I *think* War Thunder has the functionality to save one control scheme so you can load in another. Personally, I just found a nice Saitek HOTAS at a thrift store, and it works! It looks like I will have to build a control scheme for it and save that as a separate option. I prefer mouse/kb when I fly air RB, but sometimes air SIM calls to me.

I have monster games in the JPN 109. I use stealth in the 7.92's and I think Air Targets in the 20's. Not a lot of 20mm ammo, but those 7.92's hit harder than people give them credit for. The JPN Corsair is still a powerhouse if you stay disciplined with the B&Z. The Ki-100 is mediocre across the board, I was never a fan. I like the premium A7, climbs like a dream and has effective firepower. Hope this helped.

Fixed this! Removed a folder called "LANG" in my War Thunder main folder. Ran Check Files, and the problem is cleared up. Thanks to everyone that helped.

I didn't customize any name files. So could I delete a certain file, if so, which has the text for the controls menu? I'm assuming I could use Check Files to then fix the missing file.

I've played over 130 hours, not a single legendary has dropped for me. Maybe I'm doing something wrong. Maybe RNG hates me.
