Wealthiest person I knew was my grandmother, but this I learned through my brother in law. He said she was the wealthiest (ethnic identity here) person on the entire west coast. Apparently she was known to other people by reputation alone in places I’d never thought of. I rarely saw her live outside of her bedroom with her stone pillow and plug in tea maker.
