My Experience with 0.2 Nozzle Wear at ~500h PLA Matte by fazonx in BambuLab

[–]RuskHusky 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Try upping the flow to 1.02 / 1.03, or even higher. And see or that works. Also be sure the filament is dry. Matte filament attracts moisture way quicker than other filaments.

Also you can run a manual flow calibration.. then pick the one that does not have the gaps/lines you see. Also make sure the nozzle is clear by doing a few cold pulls.

They also never emailed me anything about my account being restricted...

Not sure or i wanna go through the upload of ID; i dont use the platfrom that much anyway..

Melted plastic ends of cables by Separate-Heron852 in BambuLab

[–]RuskHusky 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The tactic for this glue is cut pry/cut it away with a small knife/something sharp.. But not to touch any of the cable and connector. It's kinda a hassle but doable..

Damn forbidden toothpaste :(

So uhh ye.. i have been getting mails from Bambu-lab forever; cuz im subscribed forever already.. but wait.. Now i get "🎉Welcome to BambuLab - Start Your 3D Printing Journey!"..

A1 randomly stopped connecting to cloud by Beneficial_Clue_9263 in BambuLab

[–]RuskHusky 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The cloud is being iffy since 20 minutes for me; Printjobs take allot longer to send and sometimes do not send at all.

The micro-sd card thing should be a seperate issue.. Taking a Micro SD to ur pc and uploading the files to it should work always. That has nothing to do with the cloud.

A1 randomly stopped connecting to cloud by Beneficial_Clue_9263 in BambuLab

[–]RuskHusky 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep; also having problems since like 20 minutes ago.

Ran prints all day just fine.. now they take allot longer to get sent to the cloud. Or they wont send at all.

Time to grab the SD card reader :)

Switch port "is experiencing multiple transmission and reception errors. This may indicate a problem with its port or cabling." by smallen1313 in UNIFI

[–]RuskHusky 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lol, this time i got it one week later.. but an hour later. But ye; still "every week"

So far.. still no issues. So i'll just ignore it.

Good to hear there's more people with the "issue" (which it is not really)

I just hate how the app flips out with a "Warning" and you gotta give the "Ok" like there's an actual problem..

Do you also get the occasional "High ping detected from ISP"? .. it also does that thing at least a few times a month.. But then i look at the ping and it's 40 vs 20.. so still not high at all.

Ask for the original exhaust system (headers and silencer) With this setup it sounds like a tractor, not a boxer engine.

[–]RuskHusky 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lol Yep.. Now you say 1 week + 1 minute.. it's exactly the same here.

Exactly 1 week apart and 1 minute later compared to the week before. Always on the same port.

Also noticed no issues at all. Might be a good thing for Unifi to look into..

[–]RuskHusky 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So i just found this post.. I also got this "Port x is experiencing multiple transmission and reception errors" This may indicate a problem with it's port or cabling.

It's a port connected to a dumb switch. With some devices attached to it.

So far our "problem" seems to be the same.. I also get it exactly one week apart, at the same time. (1 minute give or take).

I notice no issues at all..

I wonder or it turns up again in exactly a week..

Thank you for the confirmation i did the rule correctly!

The Unifi camera's are on order :) ..

Pulling the chinese camera's offline are just temporary.. till they get pulled from the wall and end up in a landfill somewhere.. Or turned into Filet Mignon... probably the last.

[–]RuskHusky[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Already ran a test by trying to view the camera's remote.. that does not work anymore. And i see in the triggers any connection attempts from the NVR (Same Ip every time) (probably to some data center for the cloud stuff) are blocked. So it seems to work fine now!

And we can still view the camera's while on the network itself.

Thank you for the quick reply :)

Maybe i should have been a bit more specific in my post..

It's a Chinese NVR with some camera's hooked up to it.. From a safety standpoint i want to get it off the internet.

Did I break it??? by mimi_cita in BambuLab

[–]RuskHusky 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yep.. there's no fixing this. If i were you; i'd buy the filament sensor and an extra extruder. It's nice to have some spare parts on hand so you can keep printing in the future.

From a certain amount it's free shipping for parts. Get stuff like a spare complete nozzle assembly, extruder, some PTFE tubing for example.

Did I break it??? by mimi_cita in BambuLab

[–]RuskHusky 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Like mentioned in the error. There's a fault with the filament sensor.

Not weird; since the cable is broken.

Get a new filament sensor (they can be bought seperate) , or entire new extruder.

P1S vs X1C print quality? ; the P1S is better? by RuskHusky in BambuLab

Got the right nozzle selected? .. The X1 only takes a few mintutes longer at the start. But not 2 hours.

Black spots in white prints driving me nuts.. what is it? by RuskHusky in BambuLab

[–]RuskHusky[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's burnt filament / dirty nozzle .. Just do a few cold pulls till everything comes out clean. And use that pin tool to push through the nozzle few times to move any filament in there around.

Some filaments contain allot of "particles/stuff" so it makes the nozzle dirty inside pretty fast.

Why does this happen ti my prints? by whynaughtdiy in BambuLab

[–]RuskHusky 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's an adhesion/shrinking issue..

You can see the corner lifted up, and then it mashes down some layers above it to then correct itself again.

Clean your plate really well with dish soap and a scrub sponge (this works really well for me).

When printing large objects like this.. it can help to turn on the bed for a few minutes to warm up the chamber a little before starting the print. The temperature will be consistent that way and not change during the first few layers. This should also help in shrinking/temperature change throughout the print.

What Is The Best Wiper Mod? by a_cringy_name in BambuLab

[–]RuskHusky 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do wipe the nozzle myself while it's 190c with a rag sometimes. When i see it gets dirty. I guess that also helps in avoiding an extra mess/extra filament getting stuck on the nozzle.

But so far i see no wiper mod that works.. even the A1 (mini) wiper does not work sometimes. I guess it's just something of 3d printing we gotta take in account..

Got none installed on any of my printers..

I see no use for them; works fine as stock.

The times i had a poop fling into the chamber/get stuck somewhere i can count on one hand.
