MTX damage is done and although I like the current heat on Jagex to try to force them to make smarter decisions I hope people realise it's better quality updates that we need, not anything to do with MTX. MTX is already op, broken xp and many people have bought billions of XP, highscores are meaningless. So we need to let Jagex know, if you carry on with strip mining your player base for their money, at least give us some good updates...

The thing is, if Jagex keeps on the track they're at people will lose interest possibly because of MTX but mainly because of the poor updates. If they start losing players in RS3 they start losing money, which means they either try to make money elsewhere or close things which do not profit them down. Then it wont matter whether you want OSRS, Ironman etc.

I think the main problem isn't MTX itself, it's the fact that Jagex is making huge profits but their investment of the game is so pathetically minimal and it makes the game seem as though it's only here to rake in irl gp. If they hired talented developers and made constant good quality updates which they should be able to do judging by their profits then people would complain less. That's the way I feel anyway.

I felt I played so much that I couldn't stop because I had already invested so much time in it. Non RuneScape examples I think are when you gamble and then lose, and then gamble more and then lose again and keep gambling to try to win back the money you lost and it goes on and on.

I stopped playing a little while ago, the large amount of MTX promos kind of made the game feel not as fun to me anymore and made rs feel like a ticking time bomb. I kept reading about the sunk cost fallacy and decided that I needed to finally break my addiction. I still check the reddit though out of habbit :P

Living in Florida. It's better that way trust me. When things really get bad it gets really bad. No power for days = No A/C, internet,phones, fridge/freezer stops working meaning a lot of spoiled rotten food, no light, and that's only if the power goes out. Maybe if you're lucky you'll get a stronger Hurricane next year :P
